And now, for a serious topic – herpes is being spread to infants in NYC through ritualistic circumcisions.  There is a sect of ultraconservative Jews who practice the ancient ritual of “metzitzah b’peh”, which specifies that the mohel sucks the baby’s penis after circumcision to cleanse the wound.  Look, I’m not making this up.  Apparently there’s a mohel out there with herpes.  Since 2000, there have been 13 known cases of herpes transmitted through this practice, which have resulted in two infant deaths and two other babies having brain damage.  So whatever you do, don’t let anyone with a knife and a yarmulke suck you off.  You’ve been warned.
