Objectifying Chris Pratt

If you’ve learned nothing else from the two decades I’ve been writing this column, it’s that the better looking you are, the more advantages you have.  Admittedly, good-looking people also have issues, but that’s their problem.  This is not news to us, because we gays are a good-looking bunch.  For years, society has objectified women far ore than men.  But that certainly is changing and some actors don’t have a problem with it.  Chris Pratt was recently asked if he minds people being interested in him solely for his looks.  “I think if we really want to advocate for equality, it’s important to even things out….Not objectify women less, but objectify men just as often as we objectify women.  There are a lot of women who got careers out of it, and I’m using it to my advantage.”
