People were shocked to see Chi Chi LaRue‘s longtime retail outlet on the Boulevard shut down. Fear not, WeHoians – the sexporium is not closing. It’s just moving. The new location will be the space formerly occupied by Showtime Clothing, which means Chi Chi will be nestled between two of the hottest clubs in West Hollywood – Mickey’s and Fiesta Cantina.  The new location is slated to open later this month.

Of course, Chi Chi isn’t overseeing the move. That’s because the legendary porn directrix is in the Hazelden/Betty Ford Center in Minnesota. As one might expect, this is a pricey facility, and LaRue is having a tough time making ends meet – ironic since she’s made a career of putting meat and ends together. To help, friends have started yet another of those wildly popular crowdfunding campaigns. The target is $40K, and in one week’s time, friends and fans have come up with a quarter of that. Despite LaRue’s assertion that any extra money will go to help others in need of treatment, this particular campaign has received oodles of criticism – criticism that is regularly deleted from the official site.
