Charles & Luke On Top
You know who thought he might be gay? King Charles III! More likely, it was simply a convenient excuse. According to an upcoming biography, Diana would constantly ask why he wouldn’t have sex with her after the birth of Harry. Here is Charles’ unexpected response: “I don’t know, dear. I think I might be gay.” This isn’t the only unexpected tidbit in the bio. We also learn that Charles remains attached to his childhood teddy bear and likes to travel with his own toilet seat. Well, you can’t expect the King of England to plop down on just any throne!
Here’s something that might not be in the book – King Charles is related to the infamous Vlad the Impaler – better known to us as Dracula! Luke Evans met Charles after he finished filming Dracula Untold, and Charles told him that he had traced his genealogy all the way back to the Romanian ruler. This probably means that he’s related to our bon ami, writer, director, producer and head of the Provincetown Theater, David Drake. It’s a small world.
Speaking of Luke Evans, the hunky Welsh actor is working all the time. Being openly gay, he was asked about the roles he’s played. “Gay people have definitely missed out on gay roles, for sure…but from my perspective, firstly, I wouldn’t have had a career if gay people played gay roles and straight people played straight roles. I’d have played two roles out of the 36 projects I’ve worked on, or whatever the number is.” To back up his claims, it should be noted that he is one of a handful of people being considered to be the next James Bond. “Being gay hasn’t had any impact on any of the roles I’ve played, my slate is so diverse, so varied in such a brilliant way. I’ve played everything and no one seems to have a problem with that.” If you wanna see another side of Luke (more than the multiple angles visible on BillyMasters.com), check out his latest project. He’s just released a collection of cover songs called “A Song for You”, which includes duets with Christina Aguilera and Nicole Kidman!
