In the case of <strong>Mr. Burt Reynolds<\/strong>, that&#8217;s exactly what he did &#8211; took stock of his belongings for a giant sale&#8230;.because he&#8217;s BROKE! Due to his back injury in 2009 and his quintuple bypass the following year, his financial health took a major hit. With his house in foreclosure and acting work drying up, he&#8217;s selling his wares to the highest seller. How does this tie into my column? <em>The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> solved that with the opening line in their story: &#8220;If you&#8217;ve always wanted to have a pair of leather chaps owned by actor Burt Reynolds, you could soon be in luck.&#8221; Just how many pairs of leather chaps does Burt have? The <em>Reporter<\/em> claims the bidding will start at $100 and they are expected to go for $200-300 &#8211; a pittance to get into Reynolds&#8217; pants! I have a suggestion for whomever buys them &#8211; spray the chaps with <em>Luminol <\/em>and get one of those blue lights from <strong><em>CSI<\/em><\/strong>.
