{"id":15246,"date":"2020-08-24T01:08:40","date_gmt":"2020-08-24T08:08:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/?p=15246"},"modified":"2020-08-24T01:08:40","modified_gmt":"2020-08-24T08:08:40","slug":"postmaster-cher","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/blog\/2020\/08\/24\/postmaster-cher\/","title":{"rendered":"Postmaster Cher"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With all of the issues surrounding the <em>USPS<\/em>, let me say that I have experienced no delays in mail coming from my Beverly Hills address to my parents\u2019 home in a Boston suburb.&nbsp; In fact, the mail I got last week (complete with two rare <strong>Lindsay Wagner <\/strong>DVDs from a devoted fan named <strong>Kim<\/strong>) got to me in 48 hours!&nbsp; However, people are still concerned \u2013 especially with the potential for millions of mail-in ballots being \u201clost\u201d.&nbsp; So, naturally, <strong>Cher<\/strong> sprung to action.&nbsp; Well, \u201csprung\u201d is probably not the right term \u2013 I don\u2019t picture Cher springing into anything.&nbsp; But she did manage to pick up her phone and call her local post office in Malibu.&nbsp; Why?&nbsp; I\u2019ll let her tell it in her charming Twitter speak:&nbsp; \u201cOK,Called 2 post offices In Malibu. They were polite. I Said \u201cHi This Is Cher, &amp; I Would like to know If you ever take Volunteers. Lady Said She Didn\u2019t Know &amp; Gave Me # Of Supervisor.
