{"id":1595,"date":"2016-01-11T04:22:14","date_gmt":"2016-01-11T12:22:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/?p=1595"},"modified":"2016-01-11T04:22:14","modified_gmt":"2016-01-11T12:22:14","slug":"a-brief-report-from-the-globes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/blog\/2016\/01\/11\/a-brief-report-from-the-globes\/","title":{"rendered":"A brief report from the Globes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>&#8220;Can I just ask you a question?\u00a0 What the fuck does sugar tits even mean?&#8221;\u00a0\u2013<br \/>\n<\/em><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\">The bleeped question from <strong>Ricky Gervais <\/strong>to <strong>Mel Gibson <\/strong>at the <strong><em>Golden Globes<\/em><\/strong>.<br \/>\nWhat was his response?\u00a0 &#8220;I dunno.\u00a0 Ask the guy who said it, it wasn&#8217;t me.&#8221;\u00a0 A likely story!<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Look, I loves me some <strong>Jane Fonda <\/strong>as much as the next gay man.\u00a0 But why does she always look so pissed off?\u00a0 Perhaps she has a different sense of humor &#8211; kinda like that laugh-out-loud comedy, <strong><em>The Martian<\/em><\/strong>!\u00a0 Every time the camera showed Jane, she had a martini in her hand &#8211; you&#8217;d think that would loosen her up a little.\u00a0 Even the new first and second ladies of comedy, <strong>Eva Longoria <\/strong>and <strong>America Ferrera<\/strong>, couldn&#8217;t get Fonda to even chuckle!<\/p>\n<p>Yes, we&#8217;re talking <strong><em>Golden Globes <\/em><\/strong>&#8211; briefly (I just got home and I&#8217;m exhausted).\u00a0 If you ask me, <strong>J-Lo <\/strong>looked like the runner-up for <strong><em>Miss Universe<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 Or the winner.\u00a0 I can&#8217;t keep track.\u00a0 I was thrilled that many of my favorite shows and people won awards.\u00a0 That said, how in God&#8217;s name did <strong>Lady Gaga <\/strong>not only get nominated but actually win?\u00a0 It does put the <strong>Pia Zadora <\/strong>scandal of 1982 into perspective.\u00a0 And, why does she have such enormous difficulty walking?\u00a0 Eh, probably because she&#8217;s used to travelling by egg!\u00a0 Speaking of having trouble walking, a special shout-out to my dear <strong>Taraji <\/strong>&#8211; and thanks for the cookie, Cookie!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Can I just ask you a question?\u00a0 What the fuck does sugar tits even mean?&#8221;\u00a0\u2013 The bleeped question from Ricky Gervais to Mel Gibson at the Golden Globes.
