{"id":1667,"date":"2016-02-08T01:47:44","date_gmt":"2016-02-08T09:47:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/?p=1667"},"modified":"2016-02-08T01:47:44","modified_gmt":"2016-02-08T09:47:44","slug":"toveys-heart-stopping-torso","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/blog\/2016\/02\/08\/toveys-heart-stopping-torso\/","title":{"rendered":"Tovey&#8217;s Heart Stopping Torso"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Very often, plays will warn patrons that strobe lights or other special effects will be employed.\u00a0 Well, the <em>Broadway <\/em>production of <strong><em>A View from the Bridge<\/em><\/strong> might want to issue a warning that the sight of actor <strong>Russell Tovey<\/strong>&#8216;s torso can cause euphoria, lightheadedness, or fainting.\u00a0 That was the case last week, when a male patron quite literally swooned when he found himself a few feet from the talented thespian.\u00a0 To make matters worse, he was one of the few patrons seated in on-stage risers!\u00a0 Someone yelled out, &#8220;Is there a doctor in the house?&#8221; &#8211; just like in the movies (well, not very good movies).\u00a0 Three people tended to the man until EMTs arrived, and whisked him out of the theatre.\u00a0 The man, <strong>Davin Cutchall<\/strong>, had driven six hours to see Tovey&#8217;s torso&#8230;or, perhaps he just wanted to see the play.\u00a0 Regardless, Davin <em>Tweeted<\/em>: &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/russelltovey\">@russelltovey<\/a> Sorry for disrupting the show tonight. I&#8217;m feeling better, now.
