\n\u2013\u00a0<\/em>Donald Trump <\/strong>to David Muir<\/strong>.\u00a0 Is “sophisticated guy” some kinda archaic code that’s coming back?
\nLike “confirmed bachelor”?
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The night after his first interview as president with ABC<\/em>‘s David Muir<\/strong>, Donald Trump <\/strong>sat down with Sean Hannity <\/strong>on Fox News<\/em>.\u00a0 Hannity had problems with Muir’s interview.\u00a0 \u201cIf I had an opportunity to speak with David Muir, I’d say, ‘OK, two guys go into your house.\u00a0 They kidnap your child.\u00a0 One guy gets away with your child.\u00a0 You tackle the other guy.\u00a0 That guy knows where your child is.\u00a0 You don’t waterboard that guy?'”\u00a0 This begs the question – who is in charge of fact checking at Fox News<\/em>?\u00a0 Because if there’s a child in David Muir’s house, that sure would be news!\u00a0 As to the first part – about two guys going into Muir’s house – well, that’s probably a regular occurrence.<\/p>\n

You know who used to ask great questions?\u00a0 Dan Rather<\/strong>.\u00a0 Sure, towards the end he got a little crazy with his barnyard analogies about chickens and horses.\u00a0 But even on his worst day, he was a newsman’s newsman.\u00a0 Well, he’s back.\u00a0 Not only is he pissed off at Trump’s “alternative facts”, he’s mad at the media for allowing it to happen.\u00a0 What’s he gonna do about it?\u00a0 What any retiree would do – he started a Facebook <\/em>page.\u00a0 In the three weeks since it launched, News and Guts<\/em><\/strong> has almost half a million followers.\u00a0 Check it out.<\/p>\n

Something causing our new president many sleepless nights is the question about how many people attended his coronation….er, inauguration.\u00a0 To set the record straight, he ordered the National Park Service <\/em>to find photos backing up his claims of the crowd size.\u00a0 Trump even took time out of his interview with Muir to show him a framed photo of the teeming throngs on either side of the podium – rather than the long-shots most media outlets ran.\u00a0 It’s been my experience that when you’re asked to pay attention to girth over length, it inevitably leads to tears.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
