They took it VERY seriously, doling out sanitizer and distancing precautions.&nbsp; I hunkered down in the VIP area \u2013 which is not typically known for housing the hunks at a circuit party.&nbsp; Happily, I found a baker\u2019s dozen of lookers.&nbsp; I have a theory: the hotter someone is, the less likely you\u2019ll catch anything worse than crabs.&nbsp; And like clockwork, I was itchy\u2026but Covid-free.&nbsp; I zipped back to Boston to undergo surgery for a completely unrelated incident.&nbsp; The next day, all non-essential procedures were cancelled.&nbsp; And so it began.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SaXzK_078r4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>While I was recovering in a sling (which, ironically, is how I was injured in the first place), <strong>Seth Rudetsky <\/strong>and his hubby <strong>James Wesley <\/strong>started <strong><em>Stars in the House<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 a twice-daily chat show raising money for the <em>Actors Fund<\/em>.&nbsp; I congratulated Seth, and he said, \u201cSo why aren\u2019t you doing one?&nbsp; We all need to keep people entertained,\u201d like this was the <strong><em>Hollywood Canteen<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s how <strong><em>Billy Masters LIVE<\/em><\/strong> was born.&nbsp; As we wrap up our first season, I\u2019m proud to say we\u2019ve done 75 shows.&nbsp; It\u2019s also taken roughly a decade off my life.&nbsp; I\u2019m not complaining.&nbsp; Well, I am complaining.&nbsp; It\u2019s grueling.&nbsp; Not as grueling as picking up trash on the side of the road after some public nudity with members of the <em>Providence High School Handball Team<\/em>.&nbsp; But it\u2019s grueling nonetheless.&nbsp; We look back on 2020 this week \u2013 Tuesday and Thursday at 3PM Eastern \/ Noon Pacific on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/c\/BillyMastersTV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>Billy Masters TV<\/em><\/strong><\/a> on <em>YouTube<\/em> or at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/TV\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><u>BillyMasters.com\/TV<\/u><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NnZ9AWCekWc\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The best part has been spending time with people who are my actual friends \u2013 to say nothing of making some new ones.&nbsp; It\u2019s impossible to choose favorites \u2013 but if I didn\u2019t mention <strong>Jenifer Lewis <\/strong>first, I would pay for it dearly.&nbsp; The legendary <strong>Ed Asner <\/strong>was another.&nbsp; <strong>Loni Anderson <\/strong>was incredibly honest \u2013 and funny!&nbsp; <strong>Gloria Allred <\/strong>helped us make sense of this crazy political season.&nbsp; Both <strong>Anita <\/strong>and <strong>Ruth Pointer <\/strong>were so exciting.&nbsp; <strong>Charles Busch <\/strong>bailed me out on more than one occasion.&nbsp; <strong>Sam Harris <\/strong>never disappoints.&nbsp; <strong>Lainie Kazan <\/strong>and <strong>Michele Lee <\/strong>made history by talking \u2013 for the first time together \u2013 about the disaster that was <strong><em>Seesaw<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; <strong>Fran Drescher <\/strong>dropped by to tawk \u2013 twice.&nbsp; We sat down with <strong>Marilyn Maye <\/strong>\u2013 in person!&nbsp; We did a series of drag shows with <strong>Frank DeCaro<\/strong>, and dished porn with <strong>Chi Chi LaRue <\/strong>and <strong>Bruce Vilanch<\/strong>.&nbsp; And <strong><em>The Billy Masters Players<\/em><\/strong> performed scenes from <strong><em>Hairspray<\/em><\/strong> with members of the <em>Broadway<\/em>, tour, television, and film productions; <strong><em>Dreamgirls<\/em><\/strong> with an original <em>Dream<\/em>, and <strong><em>Jackie\u2019s Back<\/em><\/strong> with everyone else.&nbsp; All you expect from me are some witty quips and catty comments.&nbsp; I end every show by saying, \u201cIf we\u2019re here, we\u2019re live\u201d.&nbsp; Not much to live up to.&nbsp; <strong>Ellen DeGeneres<\/strong>, on the other hand, ends every show by saying, \u201cBe kind to one another\u201d \u2013 and apparently is anything but offstage.&nbsp;
