The long-gestating Elton John <\/strong>biopic has inched closer to fruition.  It was just announced that Rocketman<\/em><\/strong> will star Taron Egerton<\/strong>.  In case you can\u2019t place him, he starred opposite Hugh Jackman <\/strong>in Eddie the Eagle<\/em><\/strong>.   Would I call him Elton\u2019s doppelganger<\/em>?  Well, he\u2019s a hot Welsh lad with a full head of hair \u2013 you decide!  What\u2019s interesting is that Elton\u2019s iconic recordings will not be featured in the flick.  Taron is actually re-recording the songs.  David Furnish <\/strong>says his hubby heard three of the songs and was \u201cblown away\u201d.  Of course, Egerton already had experience singing Elton John songs \u2013 in the animated feature Sing<\/em><\/strong>, we are treated to his rendition of \u201cI\u2019m Still Standing\u201d.  The Paramount<\/em> biopic is being directed by Dexter Fletcher<\/strong>, who replaced Bryan Singer <\/strong>on the Freddie Mercury <\/strong>film Bohemian Rhapsody<\/em><\/strong>, which comes out on November 2nd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

While perusing Taron Egerton\u2019s oeuvre<\/em>, I discovered this interesting anecdote.  He appeared in both Kingsmen<\/em><\/strong> flicks, where he showed a good amount of skin.  In Kingsman: The Golden Circle<\/em><\/strong>, there is a scene where his character places a tracking device in the vagina of a paramour.  Well, at least she\u2019ll always know where it is!  Taron was uncomfortable doing the scene and demurred.  Happily, the actress Poppy Delevingne<\/strong>\u2019s husband jumped in and did the deed with aplomb \u2013 or possibly with a plum!<\/p>\n

Let me put on my psychic hat and predict what a future Ask Billy<\/em><\/strong> question might be.  \u201cBilly<\/strong>, do you have any nude photos of Taron Egerton?\u201d  <\/em>Better than photos \u2013 videos.  He was on the UK series The Smoke<\/em><\/strong> and, well, let\u2019s just say his shower scene left little to the imagination, as you\u2019ll see on BillyMasters.com<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
