{"id":46877,"date":"2021-03-08T13:22:56","date_gmt":"2021-03-08T21:22:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/?p=46877"},"modified":"2021-03-08T13:22:56","modified_gmt":"2021-03-08T21:22:56","slug":"jodies-got-no-secrets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/blog\/2021\/03\/08\/jodies-got-no-secrets\/","title":{"rendered":"Jodie&#8217;s Got No Secrets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You know what you can count on every year after the <em>Golden Globes<\/em>?&nbsp; Headlines stating that it was the lowest-rated show ever!&nbsp; True to form, this was once again the case \u2013 with a twist.&nbsp; \u201c<em>Golden Globes <\/em>Ratings Fall To All-Time Low for <em>NBC<\/em>\u201d.&nbsp; It may have previously had lower ratings on another network, but this is <em>NBC<\/em>\u2019s lowest.&nbsp; And I didn\u2019t help things.&nbsp; Not only did I not tune in live, I didn\u2019t even scan through the show for six days.&nbsp; And here\u2019s my honest review \u2013 I didn\u2019t miss much.&nbsp; I didn\u2019t find it terrible.&nbsp; Even pre-pandemic, the <em>Globes <\/em>are\u2026well, anemic (but a great party).&nbsp; Still, I love any show where <strong>Jamie Lee Curtis <\/strong>gets to show off her <em>Golden Globes<\/em>.&nbsp; \u201cThey are now well-fed.&nbsp; They are back in the stable.&nbsp; They don\u2019t need to come out for another five years,\u201d says Curtis.&nbsp; The phrase \u201cridden hard and put away wet\u201d springs to mind.&nbsp; So does the phrase, \u201cYou get what you paid for.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Remember that long, rambling speech <strong>Jodie Foster <\/strong>made back in 2013 when she won the <em>Cecil B.
