Our Ask Billy<\/em><\/strong> question comes from Grant <\/strong>in Long Beach: \u201cI just saw <\/em>Rocketman <\/strong>and fell in love with Richard Madden<\/strong>.  I keep reading he\u2019s gay in real life.  So, once and for all, is he or isn\u2019t he?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Let me answer this question with a seemingly unrelated story.  Months ago, I reported that Marvel <\/em>planned to make a film about their gay superhero, Ikaris <\/em><\/strong>\u2013 who has complete control over his physical form and never ages.  Talk about a gay superpower!  It was rumored that the company would only consider casting an openly gay Asian actor.  Well, it was just announced that the role will be played by\u2026Richard Madden, who has heretofore avoided any discussions about his personal life.  We\u2019ll see how long that lasts.<\/p>\n
