At the risk of sounding like <strong>Barbara Walters<\/strong>, I always wanted to do a show with gay men of different generations, backgrounds, and views.&nbsp; In light of the recent <strong><em>Oscars<\/em><\/strong>, I planned to sit down with award-winning writer, comedian, and <em>bon vivant <\/em><strong>Bruce Vilanch <\/strong>\u2013 and, boy, did he give us <em>Oscar <\/em>dish!&nbsp; I then mixed in producer and director <strong>Richard Jay-Alexander<\/strong>.&nbsp; &nbsp;To fill the \u201cyoung one\u201d slot, I enlisted actor <strong>Jonny Beauchamp<\/strong>.&nbsp; It was a combustible combination \u2013 and one that led to some fascinating discussions.&nbsp; From the <em>Academy Awards<\/em>, to <strong>Colton Underwood<\/strong>, to <em>The Talk<\/em>, to opportunities for gay actors, it was really on fire!&nbsp; I\u2019m planning a panel show every month \u2013 and perhaps more often.&nbsp; And <strong>Eddie Shapiro <\/strong>has a great new book out called <strong><em>A Wonderful Guy: Conversations with the Great Men of Musical Theater<\/em><\/strong> (his previous book was <strong><em>Nothing Like a Dame: Conversations with the Great Women of Musical Theater<\/em><\/strong>).&nbsp; Both men are joining me to discuss their books and what they think <em>Broadway <\/em>post-pandemic will look like \u2013 and when they\u2019ll finally give out last year\u2019s <strong><em>Tonys<\/em><\/strong>!&nbsp;
