Wendy Swap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s been a bad year for <strong>Wendy Williams<\/strong>.&nbsp; First she got the coronavirus after telling <strong>Dr. Oz <\/strong>that she didn\u2019t trust the vaccine.&nbsp; Then her <em>Graves\u2019 disease <\/em>flared up.&nbsp; And then \u201csomething\u201d kept her shuttered away.&nbsp; But, this is a new <strong>Billy <\/strong>\u2013 looking at the bright side.&nbsp; This gave my pal <strong>Sherri Shepherd <\/strong>an opportunity to do what she does best \u2013 jump into any situation and make it better.&nbsp; Sherri\u2019s natural light and ebullience brought joy to <strong><em>Wendy<\/em><\/strong> watchers.&nbsp; But she couldn\u2019t take over the show full-time \u2013 after all, she lives in California and has a contract with <strong><em>Dish Nation<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; This meant there were other fill-in hosts.&nbsp; Each and every one made Sherri look even better.&nbsp; Therefore, I am pleased to announce that after <strong><em>The Wendy Williams Show<\/em><\/strong> shutters at the end of this season, it will be replaced by a new daytime talk show called <strong><em>Sherri<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; Congrats!!!<\/p>\n<p>No sooner had that announcement been made than Wendy fired her entire management team \u2013 including publicist <strong>Howard Bragman<\/strong>.&nbsp; He had just issued a press release on Wendy\u2019s behalf: \u201cShe, more than anyone, understands the reality of syndicated television \u2013 you can\u2019t go to the marketplace and sell a show that\u2019s <strong><em>The Maybe Wendy Show<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; She understands why this decision was made from a business point of view, and she\u2019s been assured by <em>Debmar-Mercury <\/em>that should her health get to a point where she can host again and should her desire be that she hosts again that she would be back on TV at that time.\u201d&nbsp; Shortly thereafter, Wendy posted this: \u201cMr. Bragman although I appreciate your concerns and respect you immensely I have not authorized you to make any statements on my behalf regarding my current status with <em>Debmar-Mercury <\/em>[producers of <em>The Wendy Williams Show<\/em>].&nbsp; Again thanks for your continuing concern and support.\u201d&nbsp; Howard questions the veracity of that post.&nbsp; So, what\u2019s the positive side?&nbsp; Maybe Wendy\u2019s on the mend.&nbsp; To be continued\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s been a bad year for Wendy Williams.&nbsp;
