If it\u2019s true that there\u2019s no such thing as bad publicity, then Todrick Hall <\/strong>had a fabulous week!  The fallout from his Big Brother<\/em><\/strong> debacle continues.  He\u2019s doing a delicate balance of blocking all comments on social media while also trying to sell tickets for a national tour.  Many old stories about his previous bad behavior have cropped up \u2013 non-payment of collaborators, mistreatment of employees, etc.  The most heinous story \u2013 and one I never heard before \u2013 dates back to 2017.  Tod was working with adult film star Tommy Italiano <\/strong>on the Zen Blonde<\/em><\/strong> podcast.  Apparently this Italiano guy was also Todrick\u2019s assistant.  They had a tiff, and Todrick allegedly said the following: \u201cIf you say anything about me, I\u2019m going to go on my YouTube <\/em>channel and I\u2019m going to say that you have HIV and that you have unprotected sex with people and you don\u2019t tell them and I\u2019m going to destroy your reputation.  I\u2019m going to destroy your career, and this will be the last time you ever work again.\u201d  Talk about #MeToo<\/em>!  To his credit, Todrick never made good on that threat.  But, according to Tommy, Todrick called Italiano\u2019s mother and revealed her son was HIV-positive.  And people think Ellen<\/strong>\u2019s mean!<\/p>\n

You read it here first \u2013 Jennifer Hudson <\/strong>is getting her own talker.  During one of DeGeneres\u2019 many hiatuses (hiatai??), the powers that be at The Ellen DeGeneres Show<\/em><\/strong> used the downtime to film some test shows with Hudson on Ellen\u2019s stage and with all her staff.  The results were impressive enough for Fox to pick up the show starting in the fall.<\/p>\n

When is a punishment not a punishment?  When it backfires.  Remember when ABC<\/em> suspended Whoopi Goldberg <\/strong>for two weeks over that Holocaust <\/em>comment?  Am I the only one who noticed that she came back early?  She was gone on a Wednesday and only missed six shows (she doesn\u2019t do Fridays).  Why?  A curious thing happened \u2013 the shows sans <\/em>Whoopi saw a loss of over 300K viewers!  When she returned, it\u2019s been reported that The View<\/em><\/strong> saw \u201cthe biggest week-to-week gain for the entire show\u2019s history\u201d.  So, what was the net effect of Whoopi\u2019s suspension?  Proving to ABC<\/em> that she\u2019s even more valuable than they thought.  Go ahead \u2013 suspend her again.  I dare you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
