{"id":90212,"date":"2022-03-14T01:13:39","date_gmt":"2022-03-14T08:13:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/?p=90212"},"modified":"2022-03-14T01:13:39","modified_gmt":"2022-03-14T08:13:39","slug":"smolletts-a-genius","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/blog\/2022\/03\/14\/smolletts-a-genius\/","title":{"rendered":"Smollett&#8217;s a Genius"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I take back everything I\u2019ve said about <strong>Jussie Smollett <\/strong>\u2013 he\u2019s a GENIUS!&nbsp; When it was alleged that the <strong><em>Empire<\/em><\/strong> star had orchestrated being jumped on a deserted Chicago street in the wee hours of the morning while carrying a salad from <em>Subway<\/em>, I called him many things.&nbsp; I believe the words \u201cmoron\u201d, \u201cidiot\u201d, and \u201cpsychopath\u201d were used, but I\u2019ll need to review the transcript.&nbsp; When he refused the <em>City of <\/em><em>Chicago<\/em>\u2019s generous offer to drop the matter if he repaid the cost of the investigation, I was baffled.&nbsp; But, as all good chess players know, <strong>Jussie Smollett <\/strong>was thinking several steps ahead.&nbsp; So when he was sentenced to 150 days in prison, it hit me.&nbsp; Now he\u2019ll have 150 days of non-stop working out, to say nothing of being banged like a human pi\u00f1ata.&nbsp; And if you consider how much he\u2019s saving on paying Nigerian brothers for the same thing\u2026well, guess who\u2019s coming out ahead?&nbsp; And giving lots of it.&nbsp; On the flip side (which I\u2019m sure will not be neglected), Smollett still has to pay the <em>City of <\/em><em>Chicago<\/em> over $130K for the investigation \u2013 plus an additional $25K for legal fees.&nbsp; So maybe he\u2019s not THAT smart.<\/p>\n<p>Many celebs have expressed outrage over Smollett\u2019s sentence.&nbsp; Even <strong>Taraji P.
