I suppose they worry someone might tune in and think they\u2019re watching a documentary.&nbsp; But this got me thinking \u2013 what do we really know about <strong>Richard II<\/strong>?&nbsp; Do we have any idea what <strong>Cleopatra <\/strong>and <strong>Marc Antony <\/strong>said between the sheets?&nbsp; Aren\u2019t all historical dramas somewhat \u201cfictionalized\u201d?&nbsp; <strong>Dame Helen Mirren <\/strong>played <strong>Queen Elizabeth II <\/strong>on several occasions \u2013 surely the audience knew those weren\u2019t officially sanctioned.&nbsp; What about that other Elizabeth \u2013 <strong>Queen Elizabeth I<\/strong>, who was portrayed by Dench herself.&nbsp; Her <em>Oscar<\/em>-winning appearance as the sovereign for eight minutes in <strong><em>Shakespeare in Love<\/em><\/strong> was an entirely fictitious scenario.&nbsp; And, if memory serves, no disclaimer was suggested then.<\/p>\n<p>Then there\u2019s a more recent royal \u2013 or ex-royal \u2013 <strong>Meghan Markle<\/strong>.&nbsp; She recently spoke about being <em>Briefcase Girl #24 <\/em>on <strong><em>Deal or No Deal<\/em><\/strong>, where she was forced to get a spray tan, wear a padded bra, and a cute little dress.&nbsp; She felt \u201creduced to a bimbo\u201d and \u201cobjectified\u201d \u2013 which comes cheap since she was only paid $800\/show!&nbsp; \u201cI would end up leaving with this pit in my stomach knowing that I was so much more than what was being objectified on the stage.\u201d&nbsp; I\u2019m sure millions of people out there who take jobs that don\u2019t utilize all of their talents can identify.&nbsp; They do it because they need the gig.&nbsp; And if it irks you that much, leave \u2013 which Meg ultimately did.&nbsp; On the other hand, I recently hired a plumber to fix my toilet.&nbsp; If he turned to me and said, \u201cI\u2019ve got other interests.&nbsp; Let\u2019s talk about Hezbollah,\u201d I\u2019d say, \u201cShut the fuck up and fix my toilet!\u201d&nbsp;
