{"id":91135,"date":"2023-02-05T17:32:48","date_gmt":"2023-02-06T01:32:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/?p=91135"},"modified":"2023-02-05T17:32:48","modified_gmt":"2023-02-06T01:32:48","slug":"gender-and-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/blog\/2023\/02\/05\/gender-and-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Gender and Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Should acting be judged by gender?&nbsp; If not, <strong>Katharine Hepburn <\/strong>and <strong>Frances McDormand <\/strong>would have everything, and <strong>Daniel Day-Lewis <\/strong>and <strong>Jack Nicholson <\/strong>would be trophy-free.&nbsp; In soap operas, they even break it down by ages.&nbsp; Is it fair to compare <strong>Tom Hanks <\/strong>and <strong>Meryl Streep<\/strong>?&nbsp; Ask <strong>Rita Wilson<\/strong>!&nbsp; I like multiple categories because it allows more people to win.&nbsp; But what do you do about trans actors?&nbsp; Or non-binary actors?
