Anyone?&nbsp; Don\u2019t I always say that words matter?&nbsp; These people are not stars, and they\u2019re not on Mars.&nbsp; But apparently <strong>Lance Armstrong <\/strong>and his single testicle are on the show, discussing trans athletes competing in sports.&nbsp; \u201cListen, this is real simple: You want to transition, let\u2019s do it.&nbsp; You have your own category.&nbsp; We\u2019re gonna have a whole new division.&nbsp; We\u2019ll celebrate you just like we celebrate everyone else.&nbsp; Let\u2019s go.&nbsp; What\u2019s unfair about that?\u201d&nbsp; <strong>Tinashe <\/strong>(another \u201cstar\u201d) said, \u201cTo me, I think we just have to care about if you otherize people.&nbsp; It\u2019s not good for their mental health.\u201d&nbsp; <strong>Ariel Winter <\/strong>(finally, a name I recognize) said, \u201cYou\u2019re ostracizing the people who don\u2019t fit in the categories\u201d \u2013 which I don\u2019t think Lance is doing.&nbsp; He\u2019s saying create a new category.&nbsp; <em>Olympian <\/em><strong>Adam Rippon <\/strong>said he found Lance\u2019s comments \u201cso disheartening\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Back on Earth, cyclist <strong>Na Hwa-rin <\/strong>called for the need of a \u201cthird gender\u201d in sports \u2013 didn\u2019t Lance Armstrong just do that?&nbsp; Na, who was born male, won Korea\u2019s <em>Gangwon Sports Festival <\/em>in the female category.&nbsp; Hwa-rin is described as having a skeletal muscle mass of 32.7 kilograms, which is said to be about a dozen kilograms more than a typical female athlete.&nbsp; When asked about the win, Na said, \u201cMy goal was to stir controversy\u2026I am not proud of myself at all.\u201d&nbsp; Na believes that being born male provides \u201cphysical superiority\u201d against biologically born female competitors.&nbsp;&nbsp;Hwa-rin added that if a third gender category were created, \u201cwe allow more people to compete in sports and let them live their dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As we went to press, the <em>Union Cycliste Internationale <\/em>(<em>UCI<\/em>) issued a new policy barring trans women from competing in the \u201c<em>Women<\/em>\u201d category if they \u201ctransitioned after (male) puberty\u201d.&nbsp; This is based on scientific research, which cannot guarantee that genetic men those who transitioned after puberty do not have a physical advantage.&nbsp; Those cyclists will still be able to compete \u2013 but in category now called \u201c<em>Men\/Open<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How many of you are watching Stars on Mars?&nbsp;
