She\u2019s releasing a holiday collection on October 20<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 so she&#8217;ll be busy.&nbsp; The collection features a number of duets, including one with her good friend (and former backup singer) <strong>Darlene Love <\/strong>\u2013 they\u2019ll sing \u201cChristmas (Baby Please Come Home)\u201d.&nbsp; Other partners include <strong>Cyndi Lauper<\/strong>, <strong>Michael Bubl\u00e9<\/strong>, <strong>Stevie Wonder<\/strong>, and <strong>Tyga<\/strong>.&nbsp; As Cher said, \u201cIt\u2019s not your mother\u2019s Christmas album.&nbsp; It\u2019s a Cher Christmas album, whatever that brings along with the new.&nbsp; It\u2019s definitely my idea of a Christmas album.&nbsp; I had to do what I felt.&nbsp; There\u2019s no \u2018Silent Night\u2019.\u201d&nbsp; We can only hope there\u2019s an \u201cO Holy Night\u201d \u2013 for <strong>Paul Shaffer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Not to be outdone, <strong>Barbra Streisand <\/strong>will be releasing TWO collections of music on October 27<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; One is called <strong><em>Evergreens: Celebrating Six Decades on Columbia Records<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 and it will include Streisand\u2019s favorite songs from her extensive catalogue (in many cases, album cuts instead of singles).&nbsp; The second will be <strong><em>Yentl: 40<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary Edition<\/em><\/strong>, which is a 2-disc set which includes demos and alternate takes.&nbsp; These are just the opening acts for Babs\u2019 autobio, which drops on November 7<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; If I were a betting man, I\u2019d expect absolutely nothing juicy in the book.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Continuing our theme of \u201csingers\u201d (and I am using that term loosely), we turn to <strong>Britney Spears<\/strong>.&nbsp; Look, I\u2019ve never been a Britney basher.&nbsp; She\u2019s fun, she\u2019s kicky, she\u2019s kooky, she\u2019s krazy.&nbsp; But unless she\u2019s auditioning to become a chef at <em>Bisuteki<\/em>, I don\u2019t understand the dance of the seven knives.&nbsp; OK, there were only two knives \u2013 but what do you think the chances are that one of those dogs is no longer with us?&nbsp; And why in that outfit?&nbsp; Unless she\u2019s also auditioning for <em>Hooters<\/em>.&nbsp; Spears was quick to allay our fears: \u201cI started playing in the kitchen with knives today.&nbsp; Don\u2019t worry they are NOT real knives !!!&nbsp; Halloween is soon.\u201d&nbsp; The question remains \u2013 Why?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The one person I don\u2019t expect to see in the courtroom is Cher.&nbsp;
