{"id":91948,"date":"2023-10-29T23:35:03","date_gmt":"2023-10-30T06:35:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/?p=91948"},"modified":"2023-10-29T23:35:03","modified_gmt":"2023-10-30T06:35:03","slug":"a-queer-eye-anniversary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/blog\/2023\/10\/29\/a-queer-eye-anniversary\/","title":{"rendered":"A Queer Eye Anniversary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There\u2019s a few reunions on the horizon.&nbsp; <strong>Kellan Lutz <\/strong>and <strong>Cam Gigandet <\/strong>\u2013 two of the only reasons to suffer through <strong><em>Twilight<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 are starring together in <strong><em>Desert Dawn<\/em><\/strong>, which is described as a \u201ccrime thriller\u201d.&nbsp; When I first read this story, I swore the film they were making was called <strong><em>Delta Dawn<\/em><\/strong>, and I pictured them playing lovers.&nbsp; Another missed opportunity.&nbsp; Meanwhile, <strong>Taylor Lautner <\/strong>is curiously missing in action.&nbsp; Sure, he can\u2019t act \u2013 but he is (or was) pretty.&nbsp; And we know that certain predatory and shifty auteurs were willing to take him under their wing (he writes euphemistically).&nbsp; Either Taylor didn\u2019t want to play ball, or everyone\u2019s already over his balls.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere on the reunion circuit, let\u2019s talk about <strong><em>Queer Eye for the Straight Guy<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; And I don\u2019t mean the reboot that everyone loves. I mean the OG from 2003.&nbsp; That was truly groundbreaking television and brought us <strong>Carson Kressley<\/strong>, <strong>Jai Rodriguez<\/strong>, and three others I couldn\u2019t name if there was a gun to my head.&nbsp; Collectively, they were the first gays that Middle America latched onto.&nbsp; The original <em>Fab Five <\/em>(of the gay world) are having a special 20<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary reunion.&nbsp; It will take place at the <em>Wind Creek Event Center <\/em>in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania \u2013 which sounds positively Biblical.&nbsp; The show is on December 16<sup>th<\/sup>, and tickets range from $50-$100 (plus those pesky fees).&nbsp; You can get more information at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.WindyCreekEventCenter.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u>WindyCreekEventCenter.com<\/u><\/strong><\/a>.
