{"id":92489,"date":"2024-04-07T19:38:17","date_gmt":"2024-04-08T02:38:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/?p=92489"},"modified":"2024-04-07T19:38:17","modified_gmt":"2024-04-08T02:38:17","slug":"plethora-of-podcasts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/blog\/2024\/04\/07\/plethora-of-podcasts\/","title":{"rendered":"Plethora of Podcasts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cFantasize about me however you want to.&nbsp; I really don\u2019t mind.\u201d <\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><br \/>\n\u2013 <\/em><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><strong>Ricky Martin<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Excuse me if I\u2019m a bit emotional.&nbsp; I just listened to a particularly torturous episode of <strong>Shannen Doherty<\/strong>\u2019s <strong><em>Let\u2019s Be Clear<\/em><\/strong> podcast where she talked about selling her home in Tennessee and some of her things in storage.&nbsp; &nbsp;Why?&nbsp; She wants to make things easier on people after she dies.&nbsp; Not that Shannen is dying anytime soon.&nbsp; But, y\u2019know \u2013 cancer schmancer.&nbsp; And this got me thinking.&nbsp; Like Shannen, I live in multiple dwellings. &nbsp;Who in God\u2019s name is going to end up with the Fort Lauderdale beach house?&nbsp; Let\u2019s not even think about what they\u2019ll find when they go through my Beverly Hills (adjacent) abode.&nbsp; Should I start selling things off?&nbsp; Or at least hire someone to do a deep cleaning&#8230;if not an exorcism?&nbsp; Oh, Shannen, you\u2019ll be the death of me!<\/p>\n<p>While I\u2019m promoting podcasts, let me tell everyone to check out <strong>Steve Kmetko<\/strong>\u2019s latest effort, the <strong><em>Still Here Hollywood<\/em><\/strong> podcast.&nbsp; He\u2019s been inching back to public life and has done a handful of shows with some celebrity guests.&nbsp; Strangely enough, most of them were on the sitcom <strong><em>Wings<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 like <strong>Tim Daly<\/strong>, <strong>Steven Weber <\/strong>and <strong>Amy Yasbeck<\/strong>.&nbsp; While Stevie\u2019s opened up to Yasbeck about his fall from prominence on <em>E!<\/em>, fans of <strong><em>Billy Masters LIVE!<\/em><\/strong> already know some of these stories because he\u2019s opened up to me \u2013 repeatedly.&nbsp; You\u2019re welcome.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/p>\n<p>I couldn\u2019t be more delighted to see my pal <strong>Wilson Cruz <\/strong>on <strong><em>The View<\/em><\/strong> last week promoting the final season of <strong><em>Star Trek: Discovery<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; He was as feisty as ever, and found a kindred spirit in co-host <strong>Sunny Hostin<\/strong>.&nbsp; On the podcast <strong><em>The View: Behind the Table<\/em><\/strong>, Wilson asked Sunny a question about her frequent support of trans rights.&nbsp; Turns out, Sunny grew up around many transgender people.&nbsp; Not only was a trans woman one of her mom\u2019s best friends, she\u2019s also Hostin\u2019s godmother!!&nbsp; Just one of the tidbits you\u2019ll get on this great podcast that I listen to every day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cFantasize about me however you want to.&nbsp; I really don\u2019t mind.\u201d &nbsp; \u2013 Ricky Martin.
