It never fails \u2013 smack dab in the middle of Pride Month<\/em>, one of our illustrious members has to give us gay folk a bad name.  This week, it\u2019s Zachary Quinto<\/strong>.  According to reports, he was in Toronto, Canada, and allegedly acted like \u201can entitled child\u201d at a restaurant.  From what we can put together, the restaurant texts you when your table is ready.  When he was texted, Zachary didn\u2019t respond or go to see the host (maybe he\u2019s like my parents, who NEVER check their texts).  When he did show up, the table had already been given away to another party.  He saw two empty tables and tried to take them over \u2013 even though he was informed they were already spoken for.  The restaurant claims he made the host cry and made other diners uncomfortable.  They added, \u201cMr. Quinto, take your bad vibes somewhere else, we have many lovely celebrities join us at Manita <\/em>but you are NOT one of them.\u201d<\/p>\n

In more casual dining news, Colton Underwood <\/strong>showed off his meat \u2013 as in the meat you put in your mouth (well, that doesn\u2019t clear things up at all).  I\u2019ll show you the photo on BillyMasters.com<\/u><\/strong><\/a>.  He considers this his first official Pride<\/em>.  \u201cIt\u2019s taken me a few years to really put the work in.  To learn and advocate and fight next to our community and understand where I fit in in all of that.\u201d  Here\u2019s a tip \u2013 if you consider yourself part of the community, you are likely not next to us.  He added, \u201cWe\u2019re all part of the same community.  We have each other\u2019s backs and nobody can get in between us.\u201d  Because, you know, he\u2019s next to us.<\/p>\n

During The Hollywood Reporter\u2019s Awards Chatter<\/em><\/strong> podcast, Matt Bomer <\/strong>revealed that he didn\u2019t get the role of Superman<\/em><\/strong> way back in 2003 because he\u2019s gay.  He was allegedly director Brett Ratner<\/strong>\u2019s choice for the role, but then Ratner left the project.  At the time, Variety<\/em> wrote, \u201cThe final straw for Ratner seems to have been the unwillingness of Warners execs to approve Ratner\u2019s choice as the Man of Steel<\/em>, soap star Matt Bomer.  Among the actors who tested for the role were Brendan Fraser<\/strong>, Paul Walker <\/strong>and Josh Hartnett<\/strong>.\u201d  It should be noted that at the time, Bomer was best known for his role on Guiding Light<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 and was not out publicly.  When asked point-blank if he lost the role because he\u2019s gay, Bomer said, \u201cHow, and why, and who, I don\u2019t know, but yeah, that\u2019s my understanding.\u201d  By the by, when a new director joins a project, they typically make their own casting choices.<\/p>\n
