What happened to him?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I wanted to say I have no idea who that is, and then I remembered he\u2019s the football player on <strong><em>The Talk<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; He\u2019s also on a show called <strong><em>Good Morning Football<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 which I, predictably, know nothing about.&nbsp; Akbar (if I may call him that) missed a few of his scheduled appearances last week due to his prior commitment to <strong><em>American Ninja Warrior<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 finally, a show I\u2019ve heard of.&nbsp; As to <em>The Talk<\/em>, I find it curious that the network would shell out money for a new theme song.&nbsp; After all, low-rated daytime chat show has been cancelled and is going off the air in December.&nbsp; What will take its place?&nbsp; We hear <em>CBS <\/em>is giving the timeslot to a new soap opera, <strong><em>Beyond the Gates<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/p>\n<p>When soaps are making a comeback, it\u2019s definitely time to end yet another column. &nbsp;As we went to press, a mutual friend told me of the passing of <strong>Christopher Ciccone <\/strong>(brother of you-know-who).&nbsp; While we were not particularly close, Christopher and I ran in the same circles in LA and he was always fun to be around.&nbsp; Chris and <strong>Madge<\/strong>\u2019s stepmom, <strong>Joan<\/strong>, also passed away last week.&nbsp; The idea that life is so fleeting reminds me of something Gavin Creel said at the end of his last text to a friend: \u201cNot living is the one thing I have learned so far during this time that is NO LONGER AN OPTION EVER AGAIN.&nbsp;
