With days left until the election, could Meghan McCain <\/strong>be our October Surprise<\/em>?  I know nobody is paying attention to her, and certainly she\u2019s no Trump <\/strong>fan.  But she always seems to worm her way into a story.  She got particularly prickly when Kamala Harris <\/strong>invoked the memory of her father when she first joined the Senate<\/em>.  \u201cHe says, \u2018Kid, come over here.  You\u2019re going to make a great senator.\u2019  You know, we didn\u2019t agree on everything, but, man, I mean, what about an incredible American hero?\u201d  Compliment or not, this pissed off Meg.  \u201cNow, I know democrats want to reinvent history and turn my Dad into any illusion you guys need him to be depending on the political moment you need to bastardize his memory for…but please don\u2019t make me start sharing what I remember him ACTUALLY saying about Kamala Harris…And consider this my final warning shot, I will start spilling tea.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then author Cliff Schecter <\/strong>chimed in: \u201cI wrote a book about your dad in \u201908, as I\u2019m sure you know, Meghan.  So go ahead and do it, nepo.  Then I\u2019ll share what your father\u2019s advisors & others close to him told me he really thought about you.  Things I had no reason to publish except to be cruel, but will happily share now in light of what you\u2019ve become.  You go first…\u201d  Game.  Set.  Match.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not blaming this on my contacts (or lack thereof), but I had an odd reaction to seeing Lance Bass <\/strong>on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live<\/em>.  I know you won\u2019t believe I\u2019m saying this \u2013 I thought he looked really good!  I can\u2019t explain it.  He had on these funky glasses.  Maybe it was that.  Or the hairstyle.  Or the highlights.  Or the scruff.  Or that he was sitting next to Andy Cohen.  I dunno, but I just thought he looked good.  That\u2019s all.<\/p>\n
