\n<\/em>Donald Trump<\/strong>\u2019s response to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau<\/strong>\u2019s complaint that tariffs would
\n\u201ckill the Canadian economy\u201d.  Geez, now we\u2019re gonna have to replace all the flags \u2013 to say nothing of learning French<\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This week, we enter the Filth2Go Wayback Machine <\/em><\/strong>with the assistance of Mr. Peabody <\/strong>to go back to a simpler, happier, gayer time \u2013 1978.  That was the year The Village People <\/em><\/strong>released their hit, \u201cY.M.C.A.\u201d, which boasted about a place where young men could have a good time, get yourself clean, have a good meal, and do whatever you feel.  Lead singer, Victor Willis <\/strong>(the cop), claims there was nothing gay about the song.  In fact, he threatened to sue \u201ceach and every news organization\u201d that refers to the song as a \u201cgay anthem\u201d.  Then David Hodo <\/strong>(the construction worker) weighed in: \u201cJust to be clear, there would be no \u201cY.M.C.A.\u201d song without Jacques Morali<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 the legendary gay producer.  \u201cRandy Jones <\/strong>(the cowboy) took him to a Y.M.C.A. and introduced him to several gay porn stars who worked out there.\u201d  Willis struck back.  \u201cWell, well, well, what have we here?  David Hodo comes out of his hole to comment on me and my writing partner Jacques Morali.  First of all David, Jacques hated you and you know it.  So I wouldn\u2019t put much stock in whatever you have to say about me and Jacques.  Therefore, back in your hole before I crush you again, you replacement (non-original) Village People <\/em>member who has lied for years that you\u2019re an original.\u201d  That sounds awfully prissy coming from someone who is straight.  Yes, Willis has a wife, and we hear is a Republican.  Not surprising, he also defended Trump\u2019s use of the song on the campaign trail: \u201cTrump seems to genuinely like \u2018Y.M.C.A.\u2019 and we have grossed several million dollars since the President Elect\u2019s continued use of the song.\u201d  This sounds more about money than about sex \u2013 not that the two can\u2019t go together!<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s jump forward in time \u2013 to 1996, the year JonBen\u00e9t Ramsey <\/strong>captivated the country.  I must confess, she didn\u2019t captivate me.  But I do have a friend who is convinced the brother did it because of a bowl of ice cream.  It\u2019s now almost 30 years, later and the case is being re-examined on Netflix<\/em>\u2019s Cold Case<\/em><\/strong>.  John Ramsey <\/strong>(the father) says that with DNA technology, \u201cthere\u2019s a really good chance we get it solved\u201d.  The family also issued a rendering of what JonBen\u00e9t would look like today, and she eerily resembles a \u201cwaitress\u201d I had at a Hooters <\/em><\/strong>in Dubuque, Iowa!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
