{"id":93567,"date":"2025-02-16T15:51:55","date_gmt":"2025-02-16T23:51:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/?p=93567"},"modified":"2025-02-16T15:51:55","modified_gmt":"2025-02-16T23:51:55","slug":"two-and-a-half-bosom-buddies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/blog\/2025\/02\/16\/two-and-a-half-bosom-buddies\/","title":{"rendered":"Two and a Half Bosom Buddies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Back in 2023, <strong>Sean Hayes <\/strong>won a <em>Best Actor Tony <\/em>for <strong><em>Good Night, Oscar<\/em><\/strong>, in which he played actor, pianist and raconteur <strong>Oscar Levant<\/strong>.&nbsp; The show closed in August of 2023.&nbsp; If you missed it, have no fear.&nbsp; It\u2019s just been announced that Hayes will bring the show to London\u2019s <em>Barbican Theatre <\/em>\u2013 thus making his <em>West End<\/em> debut.&nbsp; It\u2019s a limited seven-week run starting on July 31<sup>st<\/sup> and ending on September 21<sup>st<\/sup>.&nbsp; So book your trip now.<\/p>\n<p>This made me look something up.&nbsp; I remembered <strong>George Clooney <\/strong>announcing that he would be making his <em>Broadway <\/em>debut in a play adaptation of his film <strong><em>Good Night and Good Luck<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; I wondered what ever happened to that.&nbsp; Well, turns out the show is opening on April 3<sup>rd<\/sup> at the <em>Winter <\/em><em>Garden Theatre<\/em>.&nbsp; His <strong>Edward R. Murrow <\/strong>will allegedly only run for two months.&nbsp; But something tells me that could be extended.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last week, <strong>Joy Behar <\/strong>debuted her latest oeuvre, <strong><em>My First Ex-Husband<\/em><\/strong> (the title was the idea of Behar\u2019s second husband), based on discussions she had with dozens of divorced women.&nbsp; She distilled their stories into eight monologues \u2013 delivered onstage by four women in black.&nbsp; It\u2019s a performance style that has worked well for shows like <strong><em>The Vagina Monologues<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>Love, Loss and What I Wore<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; Similarly, her cast will rotate every four weeks.&nbsp; The opening night company featured Behar alongside bestie <strong>Susie Essman<\/strong>, <strong>Tovah Feldshuh <\/strong>and <strong>Adrienne C.
