There was a time when I never missed Celebrity Big Brother UK<\/em><\/strong>.  Oh, those glory days of Leslie Jordan <\/strong>carrying on, or Jackie Stallone <\/strong>requesting some good wine and harp music.  Those heady moments have been replaced by people like Jojo Siwa <\/strong>and Mickey Rourke <\/strong>\u2013 which I would call a hard pass.  Mickey was ejected after some erratic behavior, including using what was referred to as a \u201chomophobic slur\u201d towards Jojo.  He claimed that if he stayed in the house much longer, he\u2019d turn Siwa straight \u2013 which I believe is the definition of \u201cmust-see TV\u201d.  He later said, \u201cI want to apologize.  I\u2019ve got a habit of having a short fuse \u2013 and I don\u2019t mean nothing by it.\u201d  In Mickey\u2019s absence, Jojo\u2019s been spending time with Love Island<\/em><\/strong> UK<\/em><\/strong> alum, Chris Hughes<\/strong>.  The two are often seen flirting and giving each other massages.  If someone is going to turn Siwa straight, it might be Hughes.  I still wouldn\u2019t care.<\/p>\n

Lil Nas X <\/strong>is facing a heath crisis that left him hospitalized \u2013 he\u2019s lost complete control of the right side of his face.  He posted a video saying, \u201cWhen I smile, this is me doing a full smile right now by the way…it\u2019s like, what the fuck?  I can\u2019t even laugh right now, bro.  What the fuck.  Oh my God.  Oh my God, bro.\u201d  To me, it looks like he may be suffering from Bell\u2019s Palsy <\/em>\u2013 which can cause temporary facial paralysis.  I seem to recall Justin Bieber having a similar condition a few years ago from which he fully recovered.<\/p>\n

Some situations don\u2019t resolve quite so easily.  Last week, Nick Carter <\/strong>was accused of sexually assaulting a woman and giving her an STD.  This might not be completely unexpected \u2013 after all, at least four other women have made similar claims over the past decade.  What is intriguing is that this latest incident allegedly happened in 2004 \u2013 which is just over twenty years ago.  The woman in question claims they were having a consensual sexual relationship \u2013 except for one night when she went over to his house to say she didn\u2019t want to have sex (one of those things that makes me go \u201cHmmmm….\u201d).  She says he forced himself on her and they had unprotected intercourse, which led to her getting chlamydia, gonorrhea and eventually cervical cancer in 2005.  Why are we hearing about this now?  That\u2019s a good question, especially since the woman is question is seeking a jury trial and damages in excess of $15K \u2013 the key phrase being \u201cin excess of\u201d.  For his part, representatives say, \u201cNick does not recall ever even meeting [this woman].  He certainly never had any romantic or sexual relationship with her.  Ever.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
