Roy<\/strong>.&nbsp; But that\u2019s not the news.&nbsp; The fact that it\u2019s based on the podcast <strong><em>Wild Things: Siegfried &amp; Roy<\/em><\/strong> is also not the news.&nbsp; That it\u2019s being written and produced by the co-creator of <strong><em>Only Murders in the Building<\/em><\/strong> isn\u2019t even the news.&nbsp; The big news is that the magic men will be portrayed by <strong>Jude Law <\/strong>and <strong>Andrew Garfield<\/strong>!&nbsp; The producers are calling the series \u201ca wild ride relationship tale of two of the greatest showman-magicians in history who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning <em>Sin<\/em> <em>City<\/em> into a family-friendly destination.&nbsp; The duo push the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show.\u201d&nbsp; Filming is set to start later this summer.<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the only high-profile gay project.&nbsp; <strong><em>Burning Rainbow Farm: How a Stoner Utopia Went Up in Smoke<\/em><\/strong> was a book based on a true story.&nbsp; <strong>Tom Crosslin <\/strong>and <strong>Rolland <\/strong>\u201cRollie\u201d <strong>Rohm <\/strong>were a gay couple who built a \u201cpot-friendly utopia\u201d in Michigan back in the \u201890s.&nbsp; It was billed as a \u201cretreat for cannabis advocates and the LGBTQ community.\u201d&nbsp; I don\u2019t know anything more than what the press release says \u2013 which is that \u201ctheir story ends with a deadly standoff with the police\u201d.&nbsp; Once again, the big news is that the gay couple will be played by <strong>Sebastian Stan <\/strong>and <strong>Leo Woodall<\/strong>.&nbsp; This theatrical film is set to come out next summer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Strangers on a Beach<\/em><\/strong> is described as a period piece \u2013 although I have enormous difficulty calling something from a year I can remember \u201ca period piece\u201d.&nbsp; Be that as it may, San Francisco in 1983 was when a serial killer stalked gay men on the beach \u2013 hence the title.&nbsp; In this case, two of the men become intimate \u2013 <strong>Zane Phillips <\/strong>(no stranger to onscreen intimacy) and <strong>Jelani Alladin <\/strong>(ditto).&nbsp;
