It Feels So Good"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Keanu Reeves <\/strong>is apparently on some sort of reunion kick.&nbsp; Starting on September 13<sup>th<\/sup>, he\u2019ll appear in <strong><em>Waiting for Godot<\/em><\/strong> on <em>Broadway <\/em>alongside <strong>Alex Winter <\/strong>\u2013 his <strong><em>Bill and Ted\u2019s Excellent Adventure<\/em><\/strong> co-star.&nbsp; Far more intriguing to me is that the play will be directed by <strong>Jamie Lloyd<\/strong>, who is responsible for the revolutionary revision of <strong><em>Sunset Blvd<\/em><\/strong> with <strong>Nicole Scherzinger<\/strong>.&nbsp; Keanu is also reuniting with <strong>Sandra Bullock <\/strong>in an untitled romantic thriller for <em>Amazon <\/em><em>MGM<\/em><em> Studios<\/em>.&nbsp; They will also be joined by producer <strong>Mark Gordon<\/strong>, who produced <strong><em>Speed<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The long-gestating reboot of <strong><em>Buffy, the Vampire Slayer<\/em><\/strong> has inched a bit closer to reality.&nbsp; A few months ago, <em>Hulu <\/em>announced plans for the series to land on their platform \u2013 with <strong>Sarah Michelle Geller <\/strong>returning as the titular Buffy.&nbsp; Joining her will be <strong>Ryan Kiera Armstrong<\/strong>, who will play \u201can introverted high-school student\u201d (according to the character breakdown in the casting call).&nbsp; She will also be a fledging slayer in her own right.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After years of false starts, a new version of <strong><em>A Different World <\/em><\/strong>has landed at <em>Netflix<\/em>.&nbsp; This is not a remake of the original, but more of a continuation or a sequel.&nbsp; This series follows Dwayne and Whitley\u2019s daughter during her time at an HBCU.&nbsp; The inestimable <strong>Debbie Allen <\/strong>is one of the producers and will direct the pilot.<\/p>\n<p>A reboot of the talent competition show <strong><em>Star Search<\/em><\/strong> has also landed on <em>Netflix<\/em>.&nbsp; According to plans, this show will air live twice weekly and the general public will get to vote.&nbsp; Host, judges, dates, etc. are all up in the air.&nbsp; But might I suggest <strong>Rosie O\u2019Donnell<\/strong>, <strong>Sam Harris <\/strong>and <strong>Britney Spears <\/strong>as judges?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In some welcomed political news, <strong>Ron DeSantis <\/strong>just lost a key ruling.&nbsp; You\u2019ll recall he tried to make it illegal for children to see drag queens.&nbsp; Orlando\u2019s <strong><em>Hamburger Mary\u2019s <\/em><\/strong>took the state to court.&nbsp; And the <em>US Court of Appeals <\/em>for the 11<sup>th<\/sup> Circuit voted 2-1 in favor of the <em>Marys <\/em>\u2013 claiming that the legislation violated the First Amendment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Keanu Reeves is apparently on some sort of reunion kick.&nbsp;
