{"id":93889,"date":"2025-06-01T21:22:14","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T04:22:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/?p=93889"},"modified":"2025-06-01T21:22:14","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T04:22:14","slug":"pride-events-on-and-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/blog\/2025\/06\/01\/pride-events-on-and-off\/","title":{"rendered":"Pride Events &#8211; On and Off"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since it\u2019s <strong><em>Pride Month<\/em><\/strong>, <strong>Laverne Cox <\/strong>and <strong>Rene\u00e9 Rapp <\/strong>have been named Grand Marshals of the <em>WorldPride DC Parade<\/em>.&nbsp; This will take place on Saturday, June 7<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; I expect <em>El Presidente <\/em>will be on some golfing trip that day.<\/p>\n<p>If you were planning on seeing <strong>Shakira <\/strong>at the <em>WorldPride <\/em>concert, you better make other plans.&nbsp; The sexy spitfire has cancelled several dates, which included the WorldPride concert and a landmark appearance at Boston\u2019s <em>Fenway<\/em> <em>Park<\/em>.&nbsp; The issues cited were security concerns and \u201cthe stability of the stage where she was to perform\u201d \u2013 as if she was sitting next to me on <em>French Bee<\/em>!&nbsp; Look, she\u2019s known for her hips, but not for the size of them!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d be remiss if I didn\u2019t mention that <strong><em>Noah\u2019s Arc: The Movie<\/em><\/strong> will debut on June 20<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; I\u2019m sure someone out there is wondering, \u201cWhat is <em>Noah\u2019s Arc<\/em>?\u201d&nbsp; You\u2019ll be forgiven if you\u2019ve forgotten the short-lived series from 2005.&nbsp; After all, that\u2019s almost two decades ago!&nbsp; But, what is impossible to figure out is how my <em>bon ami <\/em><strong>Darryl Stephens <\/strong>(as Noah) looks better than ever.&nbsp; I guess I\u2019ll have to check it out on <em>Paramount+<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since it\u2019s Pride Month, Laverne Cox and Rene\u00e9 Rapp have been named Grand Marshals of the WorldPride DC Parade.&nbsp; This will take place on Saturday, June 7th.&nbsp; I expect El Presidente will be on some golfing trip that day.
