Kevin Spacey <\/strong>is once again on the comeback trail, and has \u201cforgiven those who rushed to judgment\u201d.  And if there\u2019s one thing missing from my life, it\u2019s Spacey\u2019s forgiveness.  Now I can sleep soundly!  He made his remarks at the Italian Global Series Festival<\/em>, where he also said he\u2019s \u201cincredibly excited about going back to work in a substantial way.\u201d  I\u2019m also excited about sleeping with Brad Pitt <\/strong>\u2013 but it doesn\u2019t mean that it\u2019s happening. <\/p>\n

Jussie Smollett <\/strong>is back in the news.  Blasted all over social media are photos of Smollett getting down on his knees \u2013 which certainly doesn\u2019t surprise moi<\/em>!  He\u2019s doing it in front of someone identified as his boyfriend, Jabari Redd <\/strong>(no relation to Sharon Redd <\/strong>or, presumably, Redd Foxx<\/strong>).  The caption said, \u201cI\u2019ll be spending my birthday with my Fianc\u00e9…He said YES!\u201d.  While I wish them the best, the word \u201cprenup\u201d springs to mind.<\/p>\n

You know who else is coming back?  Lisa Kudrow<\/strong>…or rather her character Valerie Cherish.  Yes, HBO <\/em>is bringing back The Comeback<\/em><\/strong> for what is being billed as its \u201cthird and final season\u201d.  For those of you keeping track, season one aired in 2005.  Season two popped up in 2014.  And season three is due in 2026.  It\u2019s like America\u2019s version of Absolutely Fabulous<\/em><\/strong>.  When you least expect it, BOOM, it\u2019s back!<\/p>\n

As Heidi <\/strong>used to say, \u201cIn fashion, one day you\u2019re in.  The next day, you\u2019re out\u201d.  And the fashion industry\u2019s leading player is out \u2013 allegedly of her own accord.  Anna Wintour <\/strong>has announced that she is going to \u201cstep aside\u201d as editor of Vogue<\/em>.  But everyone is quick to mention she will continue as Chief Content Officer for Cond\u00e9 Nast <\/em>\u2013 which sounds like one of those jobs where you get a check to stay home (my ideal job).<\/p>\n

I\u2019m going to preface this next story by saying there is no gay angle…that I know of.  But it does involve two or three really hot men.  If you\u2019re watching The Young and the Restless<\/em><\/strong>, you know that the show has been building up to reveal the identity of mysterious mogul Aristotle Dumas.  All of a sudden, out pops someone I\u2019ve never seen before in my life.  And Lily says, \u201cCane?\u201d.  And I\u2019m asking, \u201cCane?\u201d.  Because Cane was played by another of my pals, the delicious Daniel Goddard <\/strong>\u2013 who was Dar in television\u2019s Beastmaster<\/em><\/strong>.  But Daniel is currently on General<\/em><\/strong> Hospital<\/em><\/strong>, so I guess he couldn\u2019t reprise the role of Cane.  So in walks Billy Flynn <\/strong>\u2013 not the character from Chicago<\/em><\/strong>, but a soap actor who previously played Chad on Days of Our Lives<\/em><\/strong>.  And one of his first scenes on Y&R<\/em> was with Conner Floyd<\/strong>, who plays Chance.  The next day, it\u2019s announced that Floyd just got a new role \u2013 to play Chad on DOOL<\/em>!  What will happen to Chance?  I\u2019m not at liberty to say anything other than…stay tuned!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
