I don\u2019t know if any of you have heard of the NBC Comedy Vault<\/em>.  If you open your digital cable and go past all the music, Latin and sports channels, you will find this network that shows \u201cclassic NBC <\/em>comedies\u201d somewhere in the one thousands.  I\u2019m expecting Seinfeld<\/em><\/strong>, Friends<\/em><\/strong>, Mad About You<\/em><\/strong>.  The only show they have is Will & Grace<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 and it\u2019s on 24\/7!  This includes the original series AND reboot.  Do you know how long it takes to get through all those episodes?  4.65 days.  Since I only saw the reboot episodes once, they were new to me.  And what I discovered was that many of them were really funny.  And some of them are unwatchable.  Towards the end, I watched an endless string of \u201cvery special episodes\u201d.  Why can\u2019t we just have a fun sitcom without a message from dead Rosario, Grace being fingered by her father\u2019s former partner, or the revelation of Will\u2019s coming-out letter?  Fear not \u2013 the NBC Comedy Vault <\/em>is adding some other \u201cclassic\u201d shows.  In coming months, we can enjoy the likes of Coach<\/em><\/strong>, Major Dad<\/em><\/strong>, and Charles in Charge<\/em><\/strong>!  No chance of a message in any of those.<\/p>\n

By the by, didya know that John Barrowman <\/strong>was almost cast as Will Truman?  When he was brought to the network, the brass had one note \u2013 nobody would believe this guy was gay.  P.S.  He is gay!<\/p>\n

There was no such trepidation when it came to Sean Hayes <\/strong>being cast as Jack.  The past few months, he\u2019s been knocking \u2018em dead in London\u2019s Barbican Theatre <\/em>as Oscar Levant <\/strong>in his hit play, Goodnight, Oscar<\/em><\/strong>.  Since the show closed last week, he\u2019s sharing photos of famous folk visiting him backstage.  People like David Letterman<\/strong>, Eddie Redmayne<\/strong>, Antonio Banderas<\/strong>, Victor Garber<\/strong>, and even Sir Ian McKellen <\/strong>and Dame Judi Dench <\/strong>\u2013 forever quashing rumors that they are the same person.  But, wait, there was one photo that made me take pause.  So familiar, and yet I couldn\u2019t place it.  Then it hit me \u2013 it was Elliot Page <\/strong>(formerly Ellen Page<\/strong>).  I looked at the caption and realized how wrong I was.  It was Ellen DeGeneres<\/strong>, with a dark pixie \u2018do.  So wrong…and yet so right.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile in Milan, Elliot Page made some news when he showed up on the red carpet at Milan Fashion Week <\/em><\/strong>with actress Julia Shiplett<\/strong>.  Reportedly, this is the first public \u201cpartner\u201d for Page since his 2021 divorce from choreographer Emma Portner<\/strong>.  Both Elliot and Julia were wearing Gucci <\/em>for the event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
