Royal Sequel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After a lengthy delay, the sequel to the gay romcom <strong><em>Red, White and Royal Blue<\/em><\/strong> has been announced.&nbsp; Or, rather, re-announced, because they already announced it last May, shortly after the first film aired on <em>Amazon Prime <\/em>(you can be forgiven if you thought it was on the <em>Hallmark Channel<\/em>).&nbsp; Following the <em>Hallmark <\/em>formula, the sequel will be called <strong><em>Red, White &amp; Royal Wedding<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 clearing the way for <strong><em>Red, White &amp; Royal Baby<\/em><\/strong>, and the inevitable <strong><em>Red, White &amp; Royal Divorce<\/em><\/strong>, and the eventual <strong><em>Red, White and Royal Reconciliation<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; Predictably, <strong>Nicholas Galitzine <\/strong>and <strong>Taylor Zakhar Perez <\/strong>will return.&nbsp; But <strong>Matthew Lopez <\/strong>has bowed out of directing the sequel, while he will allegedly stay on to co-write the script.&nbsp; He\u2019ll be replaced in the director\u2019s chair by <strong>Jamie Babbit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Oh, I forgot <strong><em>Red, White and Royal Honeymoon<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; But should this be an option, we\u2019re happy to suggest some destinations.&nbsp; Right off the bat, I wouldn\u2019t recommend a trip to <strong><em>Disneyland<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 especially after headlines that the <em>Haunted<\/em> <em>Mansion<\/em> has a new resident.&nbsp; Last week, a woman actually died on the attraction \u2013 although, <em>Disney <\/em>went to great pains to clarify she did NOT die on the ride.&nbsp; They issued a statement that \u201cthe guest was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased\u201d.&nbsp; <em>Entertainment Weekly<\/em> went so far as to point out the ride begins with visitors being locked inside a room, and challenged by a ghost to \u201cfind a way out\u201d.&nbsp; It\u2019s kinda like <em>Hotel California <\/em>\u2013 you can check out any time you\u2019d like, but you can never leave.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After a lengthy delay, the sequel to the gay romcom Red, White and Royal Blue has been announced.&nbsp;
