Fans of this column know that it\u2019s time for Billy\u2019s Holiday Gift Giving Suggestions<\/em><\/strong>.  For decades, I\u2019ve shared a few of my favorite things that will make your loved one\u2019s holidays merry and bright.  Tradition dictates that our first gift is the annual holiday ornament to benefit Broadway Cares\/Equity Fights AIDS<\/em>.  The latest addition to the Broadway Legends <\/em><\/strong>collection is, ironically, Kristin Chenoweth, bedecked in her Wicked<\/em> regalia.  Wouldn\u2019t it have been tragic if some misguided designer had her in her Queen of Versailles<\/em> ensemble?  This Glinda ornament is the 16th<\/sup> in the collection by Christopher Radko<\/strong>, who is known as the Ornament King<\/em>.  You can grab it (and limited supplies of some of the previous ones) at the Broadway Cares Online Shop<\/em><\/strong>, at Store.BroadwayCares.org<\/u><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m always partial to books, and there\u2019s a good one out now.  Our very own Miriam Margolyes <\/strong>has written another memoir which delivers devilish dish.  The Little Book of Miriam<\/em><\/strong> brings us bon mots <\/em>of the briefest type.  This makes the book quite perfect for the loo.  Should you be there for a short stay, you can breeze through a quickie.  Should your visit be of a more substantial length, read several.  In terms of editions, you\u2019ve got even more options.  While the hard cover version has only been released in the UK, you can grab it from Blackwells.co.uk<\/u><\/strong><\/a> and get free immediate shipping to the US.  Should you be someone who spends a good amount of time on the road, you may want the audio book (read by Ms. Margolyes herself, thank you very much).  And if you are part of the jet set, perhaps the Kindle version (available on Amazon<\/u><\/strong><\/a>) is right for you.  Something for everyone.<\/p>\n
