{"id":94492,"date":"2025-12-08T00:14:44","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T08:14:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/?p=94492"},"modified":"2025-12-08T00:14:44","modified_gmt":"2025-12-08T08:14:44","slug":"celebrity-trysts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/blog\/2025\/12\/08\/celebrity-trysts\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebrity Trysts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>\u201cIf I can\u2019t beat out <strong>Jimmy Kimmel <\/strong>in terms of talent,<br \/>\nthen I don\u2019t think I should be president!\u201d<br \/>\n\u2013 <\/em><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><strong>Donald Trump<\/strong>\u2019s opinion prior to hosting the <strong><em>Kennedy Center Honors<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp;<br \/>\nFinally, something we agree on.&nbsp; And I\u2019d like to hold him to that<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>For the past three weeks, I\u2019ve been addicted to the UK\u2019s <strong><em>I\u2019m a Celebrity&#8230;Get Me Out of Here!<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp; I was drawn in by the promise of viewing <strong>Ruby Wax <\/strong>braving the Australian jungle.&nbsp; But these shows have an insidious way of making you care about the most unlikely people \u2013 whether it\u2019s a plus-sized soap opera queen, a young tattooed rapper, or <strong>Jack Osbourne<\/strong>!&nbsp; Like Ruby, I also fell under the spell of dashing dandy, <strong>Tom Read Wilson<\/strong>.&nbsp; But for the most part, this season has been devoid of hunky men.&nbsp; Happily, some previous participants popped up on the wrap-up show \u2013 <strong>Sam Thompson <\/strong>springs to mind.&nbsp; Given the dearth of testosterone, I even found myself ogling Kelly Brook.&nbsp; But that\u2019s because I was picturing her straddling her Italian fitness model husband <strong>Jeremy Parisi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>How do you define a tryst?&nbsp; According to <em>Merriam-Webster <\/em>(whoever she is), it\u2019s \u201ca private romantic rendezvous between lovers.\u201d&nbsp; Needless to say, \u201ctrysting\u201d is a big part of Provincetown\u2019s charm.&nbsp; Now it will be happening on a formal basis through <strong>Tristan Schukraft <\/strong>\u2013 which I know sounds like the name of an extra in <strong><em>Nuremberg<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; He is the latest owner of West Hollywood institution <strong><em>The Abbey<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; He also owns properties in Fire Island, Puerto Vallarta, and now, Provincetown.&nbsp; When he purchased <strong><em>The Crown &amp; Anchor<\/em><\/strong>, his plans included changing the name of the hotel to <strong><em>The Tryst Provincetown<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; \u201c<em>The Crown &amp; Anchor <\/em>is at the heart of that story; it\u2019s been the stage, the dance floor, and Provincetown\u2019s unofficial town square.&nbsp; Our goal is to honor that legacy while evolving it for the future, ensuring it remains a vibrant, inclusive home for generations to come.\u201d&nbsp; While that\u2019s a lovely sentiment, what one sees less and less at <em>The Abbey <\/em>is gay men.&nbsp; That\u2019s primarily because West Hollywood has become less and less gay due to the price of real estate.&nbsp; Ptown is in a similar situation.&nbsp; But I\u2019m remaining optimistic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cIf I can\u2019t beat out Jimmy Kimmel in terms of talent, then I don\u2019t think I should be president!\u201d \u2013 Donald Trump\u2019s opinion prior to hosting the Kennedy Center Honors.&nbsp; Finally, something we agree on.&nbsp; And I\u2019d like to hold him to that.
