\nbeauty is in the eye of the beholder.  It sounds like you might
\nhave needed two hands to beholding Rock\u2019s dick!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Last week, the Kennedy Center Honors <\/em><\/strong>were given out (the ceremony will air on CBS <\/em>on December 23rd<\/sup>).  The first thing I noticed, aside from the dubious assemblage of honorees, was that the iconic rainbow ribbon holding the award since its inception was gone.  Now the medal hangs on a simple blue ribbon \u2013 a curious color choice by a Republican.  While many have claimed this is a \u201cwar on rainbows\u201d, the rainbow symbol is still being used.  There are rainbow colors around the Kennedy<\/em> Center<\/em> on the medallion itself, which was newly designed by Tiffany<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s honorees are Sylvester Stallone<\/strong>, KISS<\/em><\/strong>, Michael Crawford<\/strong>, Gloria Gaynor<\/strong>, and George<\/strong> Strait<\/strong> (it\u2019s always about straight people).  So once again, Liza <\/strong>got the shaft!  Let me say a word about Michael Crawford, because many have pointed out he isn\u2019t a US citizen.  He\u2019s British and lives in New Zealand and has never had US citizenship.  But you don\u2019t need to be a US citizen to get this award.  The recipient must have made a significant contribution to American culture \u2013 and certainly Crawford has.  Previous non-US recipients include opera singers Luciano Pavarotti <\/strong>and Placido Domingo<\/strong>, dancer Rudolf Nureyev<\/strong>, and pop stars like Paul McCartney <\/strong>and Sting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Gloria Gaynor, virtually the epitome of a one-hit wonder, was asked about accepting an award from Trump<\/strong>.  \u201cIt\u2019s incredible to get the honor.  I don’t think it matters where it comes from.  So that has nothing to do with the presenter.  It has to do with me and my body of work and my impression that I’ve made on the world and being recognized for that.  And anybody that is looking hopefully, hopefully can see that maybe I deserve it.\u201d  Or maybe it simply means that The Village People <\/em><\/strong>were busy!!!<\/p>\n

This is likely the last Kennedy Center Honors<\/em> we\u2019ll see.  El Presidente <\/em>and the Kennedy Center <\/em>board (filled by Trump appointees and led by Trump himself) have voted unanimously that the Kennedy<\/em> Center<\/em> would soon be rechristened The Trump Kennedy Center<\/em>.  Tim Shriver<\/strong>, nephew to JFK<\/strong>, brought up an interesting point: \u201cPerhaps the board isn\u2019t aware that the Kennedy<\/em> Center<\/em> is THE memorial to the president of the United States, John F. Kennedy<\/strong>.  Would they rename the Lincoln<\/strong> memorial, The Jefferson<\/strong>?\u201d  I can answer that in one word \u2013 Yes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
