Shia LaBeouf <\/strong>has defended his actions by explaining what precipitated a recent bar brawl in New Orleans.  \u201cWhen I\u2019m standing by myself and three gays are next to me touching my leg, I get scared.  I\u2019m sorry.  If that\u2019s homophobic, then I\u2019m that.  Yeah…I\u2019ll be honest with you: big gay people are scary to me.\u201d  Because he wanted to make sure we know he\u2019s not actually homophobic, he added, \u201cI\u2019m good with gay \u2013 be gay over there, though.  Don\u2019t be gay in my lap.\u201d  Where\u2019s the fun in that?  I think he doesn\u2019t actually understand what being gay means.<\/p>\n

\nAfter two seasons, Apple TV<\/em> has cancelled Palm Royale<\/em><\/strong>.  The first season received 11 Emmy <\/em>nominations.  While a fan favorite, it only snagged a single win \u2013 for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music<\/em>!  I guess they didn\u2019t have a category for Outstanding Speedo in a Comedy<\/em>!<\/p>\n

One show bites the dust, one gets greenlit.  Jacob Tierney<\/strong>, who created Heated Rivalry<\/em><\/strong>, has signed a deal with Netflix <\/em>for his next project \u2013 a limited series about Alexander the Great <\/strong>and his \u201crelationship\u201d with Aristotle<\/strong>.  Actually, it\u2019s about a young Alexander \u2013 years before he became \u201cgreat\u201d.  This is how Netflix <\/em>describes the show: \u201cThe drama begins as the Athenian empire is crumbling and the world\u2019s greatest mind, Aristotle, arrives in Macedonia to tutor a volatile young prince, Alexander.  Amid palace intrigue, forbidden love, brutal war and ruthless ambitions, their unlikely friendship shapes an empire and alters the course of history.\u201d  You had me at \u201cforbidden love\u201d.  Throw in a hockey puck, and I think we could call this Heated Hellenics<\/em><\/strong>!  By the by, it\u2019s been rumored that Netflix <\/em>passed on Heated Rivalry<\/em><\/strong>, which is how it ended up at Crave <\/em>in Canada.<\/p>\n

Longtime fan Sean <\/strong>from New York City contributes this week\u2019s Ask Billy<\/em><\/strong> question: \u201cYears ago, you introduced us to model Joseph Sayers<\/strong>.  Whatever happened to him?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

WOW \u2013 you are going back DECADES!  The last time anyone asked me about him was in 2007, at the height of his Abercrombie & Fitch <\/em>fame.  But let\u2019s go back \u2013 to his 18th<\/sup> birthday when he was \u201cdiscovered\u201d (at some point he was working at Buffalo gay bar, Club Marcella <\/em><\/strong>\u2013 see our site for photos).  He met a photographer, Ed Flores<\/strong>, who convinced Sayers to do a number of \u201cbody shots\u201d in a motel room.  These were reminiscent of the Bruce Weber <\/strong>style, which eventually led to working with Weber and being an A&F <\/em>model.  Alas, Flores photographed every inch of Sayers\u2019 body, which led to those photos being leaked online.  Eventually, we hear Sayers not only purchased back the rights to the photos, he also had new nudes taken around 2005 that were not only more representative of who he was at the time, but also he hoped took the focus off the earlier nudes.  His modeling career was primarily in print media due to his diminutive size (he\u2019s 5\u20196\u201d).  Sometime around 2008, he scaled back his modeling work and went to college, where he maintained a 3.86 GPA and was considering applying to medical school.  Around that time, he said young people experiment with sex too early, and that\u2019s caused a drop in moral values.  And then the path goes cold.  But I\u2019ve got some photos that could heat you right up \u2013 on BillyMasters.com<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
