Of course, that clever minx ain\u2019t going anywhere until after the <em>Tony Awards<\/em>.&nbsp; Her final show will be on June 21<sup>st<\/sup>.&nbsp; So I urge you to quickly grab your tickets now \u2013 for June 22<sup>nd<\/sup>!&nbsp; Her replacement is the biggest guessing game in New York.&nbsp; The luminous <strong>Lena Hall <\/strong>did the concert which was the basis of this production, so she\u2019s in contention \u2013 as is <strong>Karen Olivo<\/strong>, who did the DC run.&nbsp; The funniest suggestion I\u2019ve read online is that an offer should go out to <strong>Beanie Feldstein<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last week, I got to spend time with the uber-talented, award-winning <strong>John McDaniel<\/strong>&#8230;TWICE.&nbsp; First was a scrumptious brunch at <em>Casablanca Caf\u00e9 <\/em>in Fort Lauderdale where we hung out with the spring breakers.&nbsp; Days later, he invited me to see him and <em>Tony<\/em>-winner <strong>Lindsay Mendez <\/strong>at the <strong><em>Broadway in Worcester <\/em><\/strong>series (less than an hour outside of Boston).&nbsp; I adored Lindsay in <strong><em>Merrily We Roll Along<\/em><\/strong>, but I was not prepared for the range and depth of her vocal ability.&nbsp; She is phenomenal and her connection with the lyrics is mesmerizing.&nbsp; He was actually a finalist \u2013 but lost out to <strong>Tom Holland<\/strong>, who had the edge in the action sequences due to his years of ballet training for <strong><em>Billy Elliot, The Musical<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp;
