Last week, previews began for the Broadway <\/em>revival of The Rocky Horror Show<\/em><\/strong>.  As you know, the production is led by a very sexy Luke Evans <\/strong>as Frank-N-Furter, who in the released photos seemed to be wearing a black Lycra<\/em>, high-thigh-cut bodysuit with a fishnet body stocking.  But in the video we got from one of the first previews, we can see the show indeed ends with him in a sexy corset and a black leather jock strap which quite clearly shows his penis bouncing about.  And, of course, you can follow the bouncing bob on BillyMasters.com<\/u><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

We recently reported that Lea Michele <\/strong>will be leaving the Broadway <\/em>production of Chess<\/em><\/strong> on June 21st<\/sup> (days after she wins \u2013 or loses \u2013 a Tony Award<\/em>).  When someone told me Lea would be replaced by JoJo<\/strong>, I was appalled.  Surely if there is anyone I\u2019d like to see less in Chess<\/em>, it\u2019s JoJo Siwa.  Therefore, I\u2019m both pleased and relieved to report that the actual replacement is Joanna <\/strong>\u201cJoJo\u201d Levesque<\/strong>.  This JoJo previously appeared on Broadway <\/em>in Moulin Rouge!  The Musical<\/em><\/strong>.  And in one of those coincidences that people love so much, she went back into Moulin Rouge <\/em>a second time for a 12-week run alongside her new Chess<\/em> co-star, Aaron Tveit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Picture it \u2013 Boston, 2019.  Faye Dunaway <\/strong>starred as Katharine Hepburn <\/strong>in the play Tea at Five<\/em><\/strong> at the Huntington Theatre<\/em>.  She could have given a stupendous performance on opening night, but she was already loathed by everyone connected with the show \u2013 which is hard to do in a one-woman show.  Let\u2019s just say the rehearsal period made the Master Class<\/em><\/strong> national tour look like a Disney <\/em>show.  After Faye allegedly slapped a crew member, the possibility of a Broadway <\/em>transfer disappeared.  Eventually, playwright Matthew Lombardo <\/strong>was able to see the absurdity of the situation and use it as a starting point for a new comedy \u2013 When Playwrights Kill<\/em><\/strong>.  This play is about a writer (the delightful Matt Doyle<\/strong>) of a play doing a pre-Broadway <\/em>tryout starring a very difficult diva (the delicious Beth Leavel<\/strong>) who could jeopardize the entire venture.  How can the situation be salvaged?  You\u2019ll have to see \u201cWhen Playwrights Kill\u201d to find out.  BTW, the stage manager is played by the ebullient Marissa Jaret Winokur<\/strong>.  And in a moment of art-imitating life-imitating art, the world premiere takes place at the Huntington Theatre <\/em>in Boston!  It runs April 3rd<\/sup> through the 18th<\/sup>.  Grab tix at WhenPlaywrightsKillBoston.com<\/u><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
