I can\u2019t imagine anyone having a problem being bedfellows with Tyler Hanes <\/strong>(I will save my history with him for the book).  The Hallmark <\/em>hunk is headed back to the stage, but admittedly further off Broadway <\/em>than his previous endeavors.  This latest venture just began previews at the Marriott Theatre <\/em>outside of Chicago.  He\u2019s taking on the role of Elvis Presley <\/strong>in what is being termed as a \u201cbio-musical\u201d.  Heartbreak Hotel<\/em><\/strong> focuses on Presley\u2019s life just before his 1968 comeback and includes about forty Elvis hits.  Hanes as sexy Elvis?  Sign me up!  The show runs through May 31st<\/sup>.  Get details and tickets at MarriottTheatre.com<\/u><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

I suppose it was an inevitability, but an off-Broadway <\/em>production has been announced called Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody<\/em><\/strong>.  It got my attention because one of our favorites is taking on the role of Ilya \u2013 Jay Armstrong Johnson<\/strong>.  As Shane, we have Jimin Moon<\/strong>, who I am not familiar with, but they both look hot in the photos.  I\u2019m told one of the highlights is a quasi-Greek chorus extolling the virtues of \u201cgay hockey players with big butts\u201d.  For the record, I\u2019ve always enjoyed every inch of JAJ, but never thought of his ass as particularly large.  Given his notable appearances in Broadway Bares<\/em><\/strong>, you can check him out on BillyMasters.com<\/u><\/strong><\/a>.  The musical opens on May 12th<\/sup> at the 5th<\/sup> Floor Theatre<\/em>.  More details can be found on HeatedRivalryParody.com<\/u><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Time for yet another almost predictable Ask Billy<\/em><\/strong> question.  Gerry <\/strong>in Los Angeles writes, \u201cI keep hearing about some film Connor Storrie <\/strong>made about his ass.  What do you know about it?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Well, I wouldn\u2019t say it\u2019s about his ass, but it surely figures prominently in this endeavor.  It\u2019s called Look Behind You<\/em><\/strong>.  Get it?  Behind?  Anyway, it\u2019s directed by Nia DaCosta<\/strong>, who was Connor\u2019s \u201cdate\u201d at the Oscars<\/em><\/strong>.  It was released by Verizon <\/em>\u2013 stay with me, I\u2019ll explain.  The four-and-a-half-minute short opens with Storrie, playing himself, arriving alone at a secluded home (dare I say, a cottage).  He uses his Verizon phone to unlock the door.  Suddenly we hear a crash of music, and he runs to turn off the stereo.  Then the alarm goes off.  He checks the doors to make sure they\u2019re locked.  Suddenly the landline rings \u2013 but nobody\u2019s there.  The lights go on outside, and he hears the automation say the doors are unlocking.  He checks his phone to find a text message saying, \u201cI\u2019m coming for you\u201d and then \u201cI\u2019m here.\u201d  He approaches the door and…well, just watch it on BillyMasters.com<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
