Ritchson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m old enough to remember when ladies lost their shit about <strong><em>Thelma &amp; Louise<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; Personally, I was all about <strong>Brad Pitt<\/strong>, but I\u2019m shallow that way.&nbsp; A musical version of the film will have its world premiere in London\u2019s <em>West End<\/em>.&nbsp; <strong>Callie Khouri<\/strong>, who wrote the script for the film, is writing the book for the musical.&nbsp; The show debuts at the <em>Young Vic <\/em>on September 3<sup>rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>There was a kinda <em>Thelma &amp; Louise<\/em> reunion at <strong><em>Coachella <\/em><\/strong>this year.&nbsp; During <strong>Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong>\u2019s first weekend, she had <strong>Susan Sarandon <\/strong>play an older version of her by reciting a lengthy monologue.&nbsp; The following weekend, <strong>Geena Davis <\/strong>took on the role (with a significantly shorter version of the same monologue).&nbsp; Carpenter also featured another older woman during the show.&nbsp; But I\u2019m giving <strong>Madonna <\/strong>the week off.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-568\" src=\"http:\/\/www.billymasters.com\/custom\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/colorbar1.gif\" alt=\"colorbar1\" width=\"500\" height=\"1\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Alan Ritchson <\/strong>may be known to people as the hot lead in <strong><em>Reacher<\/em><\/strong>, or from his time on <strong><em>Blue Mountain State<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; But I remember him from <strong><em>American Idol<\/em><\/strong> in 2004 when he flirted with Miss <strong>Paula Abdul<\/strong>.&nbsp; His success on the show was short-lived when he got cut during <em>Hollywood Week <\/em>after partying all night in the pool and blew his audition the next day (I suspect that wasn\u2019t the only blowing going on).&nbsp; He\u2019s returning to his reality roots and just signed a deal to host an untitled show for <em>Netflix <\/em>where he will lead a group of other \u201cnames\u201d to survive in the outdoors without any modern conveniences or comforts.&nbsp; They don\u2019t have to be afraid, but I\u2019m all for them being naked.<\/p>\n<p>A couple of years ago, Ritchson did a very long and rambling interview with <em>The Hollywood Reporter<\/em>.&nbsp; Here is one of the anecdotes he shared: \u201cI was booked for a shoot for this very famous photographer.&nbsp; I was sent into a hotel room to do nudes with the promise that if I did the shoot, he would offer me a very lucrative campaign for a magazine and a clothing line.&nbsp; I was sexually assaulted&nbsp;by this guy.\u201d&nbsp; He doesn\u2019t mention any names, but it is worth noting that he did model for <strong><em>Abercrombie &amp; Fitch <\/em><\/strong>and was shot by <strong>Bruce Weber<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m old enough to remember when ladies lost their shit about Thelma &amp;
