I suppose it was inevitable.  With the departure of Lea Michele<\/strong>, the Broadway <\/em>revival of Chess<\/em><\/strong> is closing.  But we really can\u2019t put all the blame on Michele \u2013 the lack of Tony <\/em><\/strong>love certainly didn\u2019t help.  We can also blame the revised book, which certainly contributed to lots of people being unemployed.  Lea\u2019s replacement, JoJo Levesque <\/strong>said this:  \u201cWas supposed to start first day of rehearsals TODAY.  So bummed.  All my love to the company.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lots of you have asked about the West End<\/em> run of Joy Behar<\/strong>\u2019s play, My First Ex-Husband<\/em><\/strong>.  People tell me there\u2019s no place to buy tickets.  In fact, nobody could even find the play listed anywhere in London.  So I did some digging.  On the Behind the Table<\/em><\/strong> podcast, Behar announced that she would be joined by Jackie Hoffman <\/strong>and \u201ctwo other British actresses\u201d.  Could she be more vague?  Then she got specific and said it would be playing at the Boulevard Theatre<\/em>.  A perfect venue…except the play is not listed on their website.  Some people tell me this is not an actual commercial run but a closed series of performances for an invited audience.<\/p>\n

Last week, I came across the following headline: \u201cDerek Hough <\/strong>was jumped, hung upside down, then expelled.\u201d  Which begged the question, what happened on the second date?  Actually, Hough went public about being tormented as a kid by bullies \u2013 one of whom actually held a gun to his head.  He says the taunting stemmed from being smaller than the other boys and being obsessed with dance.  That\u2019ll do it.  After all, y\u2019know, Utah!  That\u2019s when his family moved him to London to live with Mark Ballas <\/strong>and his family.  The rest, as they say, is history.<\/p>\n

Someone else who was small was little Danny Pintauro<\/strong>.  He was also picked on, but enough about the Who\u2019s The Boss? <\/em><\/strong>set.  We recently told you how he\u2019s scrambling to make ends meet.  Last week, he was interviewed on Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/strong> when Kevin Frasier said this: \u201cYou never know who\u2019s going to wander through Entertainment Tonight <\/em>because it happens all the time.  We have people just pop through at any given moment, and you might know this beautiful lady,\u201d and out popped Judith Light<\/strong>, exclaiming, \u201cIt\u2019s your mom!\u201d  Pintauro was visibly shocked.  The twosome gabbed for a bit, and then Light asked, \u201cLife is good?  You\u2019re OK?\u201d  Danny said that\u2019s what they were talking about.  \u201cI\u2019m working for Amazon Flex <\/em>\u2013 that\u2019s the big news story for me.\u201d  Judith\u2019s response?  She threw her hands up and said, \u201cOK!\u201d  You can watch the reunion on BillyMasters.com<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
