My favorite story of the week comes from the Miss Grand International competition – one of the few beauty pageants I’ve never watched (but I am available to judge or host, should they be looking for someone).  During the 2020 competition, Miss Argentina and Miss Puerto Rico met…and fell in love!  They kept it private and never made any public mention of being in a relationship…until they got married!  Then they posted a video documenting their courtship: from first date, to proposal, to a civil ceremony at the Marriage Bureau in San Juan, Puerto Rico on October 28^th.  “After deciding to keep our relationship private, we opened the doors to them on a special day.”

Love is certainly in the air.  Cher recently went public with her latest beau.  While most outlets are focusing their reports on the fact that the 76-year-old singer was seen canoodling with 36-year-old music producer Alexander Edwards, we’re not going to pounce on age.  Instead, we will note that Edwards is a person of color.  This answers the question, “How is Cher like Madonna?”  At least Cher’s guy is old enough to drink!
