New York’s hottest night of the year took place last week with the return of the annual Broadway Bares benefit.  Since 1992, Jerry Mitchell has helped raise over $33 million for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.  This year’s extravaganza brought in $2,534,428 – breaking the previous year’s record.  Mark MacKillop once again topped himself (which, experience has shown, could land you in the ER).  He brought in a staggering $227,371, roughly $200K more than the second-highest earner (Ricky Schroeder, Jerry Mitchell’s hunky hubby).  Fun fact – MacKillop has raised over one MILLION dollars for BC/EFA.  If I were a betting man, I’d count on some videos and photos showing up on BillyMasters.com.

As I was leaving Italy, Chris Appleton (former Mr. Lukas Gage) docked in Positano and wasted no time stripping down to his Speedo.  This vacation is fortuitous because he’s about to be very busy.  He’ll be one of the competitors on the upcoming season of Strictly Come Dancing (the UK version of Dancing with the Stars).  While Lukas will likely not be cheering on his ex, Appleton’s kids will be ringside most weeks.  You didn’t know he had kids?  Prior to coming out at 26, he was with Katie Katon for about 9 years (he was married to Lukas less than 9 months).  Chris has a 24-year-old son named Billy and a 22-year-old daughter, Kitty-Blu – which I thought was a product in my local Petco.  Anyhoo, you can check out his hot Speedo shots on our website.

Only a few days into the summer and we have a rerun.  It’s been less than a month since the arrest of adult film star Drake Von (aka Dawson Bacon – which certainly sounds like more of a gay porn name to moi).  He termed that incident a “publicity stunt”.  Doesn’t sound like he’s very good at stunts because a few days ago, he crashed his Tesla into a Kia Soul!  He told police that he hadn’t had a drop of alcohol in over a week.  But the cops reportedly found 13 nitrous oxide tanks in his car, along with balloons and rubber bands.  He agreed to take a sobriety test.  While we don’t know the results, he was taken away in handcuffs – which he should be used to by now!  All of these incidents took place in Las Vegas – a city known for all sorts of stunts (it’s also where Appleton and Gage wed).  Regarding that earlier “stunt”, we’ve learned that it started when his galpal Quinn threw his Louis Vuitton promise ring out of a moving car (how Jonas Brothers of her).  When they got home, Von reportedly took Quinn’s cell phone and said if she wanted it back, she’d have to get on her knees and apologize to him.  Talk about art imitating life!  When the police arrived, they saw an empty magazine from a firearm on his coffee table and called in a SWAT team.  Frankly, it all sounds far too dramatic for porn – gay or straight!
