This week’s Ask Billy question took me by surprise.  Gary in Detroit wrote, “Why did Matt Rogers and Fraser Olender break up?  That really surprised me.”

Wow, that surprised me, too.  Not that I expected them to grow old together and raise a flock of children reminiscent of a Benetton ad.  But, I simply hadn’t heard about this.  Of course, it makes sense – apparently the news only went public as we were preparing this week’s column.  So what did I do?  I called someone more plugged in than moi.  Someone at Bravo – a network where getting plugged in is part of every job description.  Here’s what I heard – it was a mutual decision and they’re still friends.  I traded promises of sexual favors for that?  Clearly I am talking to the wrong people at Bravo.  But, wait a minute – maybe I should talk to someone not working for a network that employs one (if not both) of the parties.  So I called a friend who recently worked with one of them, and he told me they broke up shortly after the Las Culturistas Culture Awards in June.  That struck me as odd because only a month ago, Matt said this on Watch What Happens Live: “He’s as lovely as you probably can guess.”  Really?  Can I guess??  Please?
