Love Is In The Air?

Many of you have been writing in asking why I haven’t reported about Andy Cohen’s latest paramour.  Really, what is there to say that Andy hasn’t told us?  He met Kevin Sobieski last year at a July 4th party in the Hamptons.  I wouldn’t say it started with a bang, but I’m sure more than a few bangs have happened since Cohen slipped into Sobieski’s DMs (which is not necessarily a euphemism for the self-proclaimed top).  Andy later gushed, “This man is kind and strong and smart, and he’s an adult, and he loves my children, and they love him.  And I love him.  We have been so slow and deliberate and methodical about getting to know each other, and introducing him to the kids and just entering him into the equation of my family so slowly.  And I have to say, it has been so easy.”  A good top always knows when to take it slow and easy.

Then there’s Kathy Griffin, who is getting over a whirlwind Hawaiian romance.  No, he’s not the hot 22-year-old blond New Yorker – that was just a prank with a friend’s son who was doing security for her.  But around the same time, Kathy had an online relationship with Joe, who is 55 years old (and, admittedly, the oldest man she has ever dated…or kissed).  This Joe is the cousin of one of her male friends and they clicked – until they didn’t.  It fell apart on a long weekend in Hawaii when, after having what Griffin considered great sex, he said, “Maybe you don’t float my boat” – talk about a buzzkill!  You can hear Kathy tell the whole story on her YouTube show (we’ll link to it).

Remember when I married gay porn legend Kurt Young?  That was at an event titled the largest symbolic same-sex wedding ceremony.  Cynthia Nixon will be officiating something being billed as The World’s Largest All-Girl Wedding and Renewal Ceremony.  It will take place on February 21st, 2027 – look, lesbians need time to plan!  It’s all part of Winter Pride St. Pete at an event being called Bride Pride.  Catchy.

We have time for a very brief Ask Billy question.  Hal in Baltimore asked, “Tom Daley has a line of clothing?”

He does indeed.  It’s actually a collaboration with queer designer Patrick Church.  The line features lots of skimpy wear, which Daley models (barely) to the delight of readers…and hopefully buyers.  You can check out his wares on PatrickChurchArtist.com.  Since a picture is worth a thousand words, you’ll get more than a few thou when you check out the photos on BillyMasters.com.

When love is in the air, it’s definitely time to end yet another column.  I knew I smelled something – who knew love smells exactly like low tide in Ptown!  Since we ran awfully long this week (that’s what he said), let me slowly squeeze in a snug plug for BillyMasters.com – the site that is always a perfect fit.  Have no fear – I always have room for your questions.  Send them along to Billy@BillyMasters.com and I promise to get back to you before someone takes J. Edgar’s photo out of the Smithsonian!  So, until next time, remember, one man’s filth is another man’s bible.
