Musto and Maye Hit Ptown

My dear colleague, the iconic Michael Musto was at the Joy Behar show.  I know I say this all the time, but people like Michael Musto are the reason there is a Billy Masters – so give him the credit (or the blame).  We had a lovely reunion – we haven’t seen each other since he was a guest on Billy Masters LIVE (he asked when I’m bringing it back, and I said, I’m thinking about it).  He didn’t stick around afterwards for the meet-and-greet because he had tickets to Puppetry of the Penis – it’s all about priorities.  Days later, he was back in NYC and wrote about going to Lidia Bastianich’s restaurant Becco on Restaurant Row.  In his post, he said, “I recently started on Zepbound because it’s the only legal way to abort the triplets it looks like I’m carrying.  But I’m on the lowest dose, so I can still enjoy a meal out now and again.”  Good for you, Mikey!

Meanwhile on Fire Island, Marilyn Maye was wowing the capacity crowd at the Ice Palace – yes, wrap your mind around that for half a second – Marilyn Maye/Fire Island/Ice Palace.  And throw in that she’s 98 and still touring!  Of course, Auntie Marilyn will be returning to Provincetown for her annual show at Town Hall on August 30th.  This will mark her 16th year playing Ptown – so needless to say, I’ll be there.  Marilyn may show no signs of stopping, but I wouldn’t take her for granted.  Grab your tickets now at PtownTownHall.com.
