I recently told you that Sophia Loren was charging $750 for a Meet & Greet.  Apparently Mariah Carey is charging $700 for a similar experience.  But let’s be clear – it’s a meet and a greet; it’s not a touch, hug, kiss, or otherwise fondle.  Fans in line were told that you walk over to her, stand next to her, pose, and move on.  Well, you can’t blame Mariah.  She can barely move since she’s always poured into a dress at least four sizes too small, which is ready to burst.  You jostle her the wrong way and the whole infrastructure could be compromised!  Fans were told that Mariah might touch them if the spirit moved her…assuming the spirit could move.

That “no-touching” rule also pertains to family.  Carey’s brother Morgan has gone public saying that Mariah is neglecting their sister Alison – who is an HIV-positive former prostitute with medical issues.  “Your sister is dying and she is struggling and where are you?  You think you are so fabulous, but you are a witch,” Morgan told The Sun in London last week.  “Mariah needs to step up.  I flew in from Hawaii last year when Alison was taken off a ventilator, believing she was going to die.  My sister [Mariah] didn’t even show up at the hospital.”  Alison now needs brain and spinal surgery and, allegedly, nobody from Camp Mariah is returning calls.  It should be noted that Carey has helped Alison in the past – including paying for drug rehab, previous medical bills, etc.  But Morgan thinks that’s just a drop in the bucket.  “She probably spends more on dog food than it would cost to make sure her sister gets properly cared for.”  If Alison is willing to eat dog food, I bet Mimi would be happy to send her some.
